Coast Metro Vancouver Hotel

Been there twice for some reasons. First time was ok, second time I got the room was close to hwy, so noisy, and one thing can’t accept that previous customers smoked in the room and they might don’t know or whatever, I stayed after few hours my all clothes absorbed that smoke smell. Why they don’t do anything before new customers checkin?

From the moment we walked in we loved the place, we were treated very warmly by the woman at the front desk and offered water and snacks, we got to choose if we wanted 1st or 2nd floor, and we loved the layout of the hotel! The renovations are really nice and modern, I loved our view overlooking Vancouver and Burnaby, the noise wasn't too bad at all despite being so close to a major intersection, and it was very close to bus stops that are only a short ride away from the Expo and Millennium lines! They even let us borrow an umbrella at the front desk so we didn't have to buy one! When checking out, the man who helped us was just as nice and happy as the original woman who checked us in! Even topped up the snack basket for us. All the staff were happy and helpful the entire time. Also, I had the best sleep in YEARS in the bed there. Those pillows are the best I've used, I'd really love to get some for myself. We will definitely be using this hotel again on future trips! We were happy with the price as well, it felt like a good deal, especially compared to other hotels in Vancouver/Burnaby, and the great experience definitely made the price worth it! New reno on an old building was really well done. You can definitely hear other rooms and people walking outside but it was pretty quiet at night. There's no real amenities but you get what you pay for and there's lots of options 2 blocks south.

This hotel has exactly what I needed. Clean comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful service, and a decent price. It's not fancy, but it's what I want in a room.

Overall the room was quite good (newly renovated and very clean) The property is nicely accessible with its location, however as a result, there was a LOT of traffic noise and sirens all night long (corner of Grandview Hwy and Boundary Rd) Rooms facing East or South would likely be much more quiet.
