Blind Tiger Burlington

What an incredible hidden gem and wonderfully surprising stay we had. Already planning our next visit with you. We can't wait to come back. All the uniquely decorated spaces, guest & staff were so welcoming. The breakfast far surpassed what we were expecting and having it in your lovely garden was such a treat.

Super spacious rooms, very spacious layout with many rooms for relaxing, reading, sipping, zooming ( if necessary), enjoying the plants in the solarium and the fireplace if chilly. lovely breakfast buffet and be sure to check out the snack cabinet with fresh-baked goods and other treats.

This charming hotel was perfect. We stayed in room 6 and adored it. My recommendation is that they also post photos of the bathrooms as part of the room photos as I was expecting a different type of tub. Service was fantastic and it made me fall in love with Lark hotel chain. Coffee and breakfast was fantastic and the free snacks and drinks are a great touch! Thank you Blind Tiger!

Our stay was perfect at the Blind Tiger. The room was spotless. A massive king sized bed had a quality mattress with amazingly comfortable pillows. The downtown stairs was adorable. Each room was charming and comfortable. We enjoyed a great coffee and tea bar daily with delicious baked treats. Every morning the dinning room table was adorned with various breakfast items that began our day perfectly. The salerium and surrounding grounds were beautiful. The staff at as helpful and cheerful. We appreciated the mud room where we could lock up our bikes as well. Wonderful stay!

The inn is a beautiful old Victorian with high ceilings and a gorgeous conservatory where you can eat breakfast. Hosts were all very nice. Breakfast was expanded Continental- breads, scones, yogurt, fresh fruit, prosciutto, lox, cheese. Room had a wonderful view of trees and Lake Champlain. Furniture was mostly elegant but then there were wooden chairs covered with graffiti, which really clashed. The side tables next to the bed were also modern- looked like dripping metal off the sides. This was right next to handsome burgundy wing chairs. Some of the floors had been sanded to a nude color, next to all the dark brown wood of the staircase. The new railings on the staircase had been neither painted nor sanded, which was a shame. Overall very good but the modern furniture and and paintings were disconcerting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blind Tiger. We loved how easily we could walk downtown (about 15 minute walk) through safe neighbourhoods. The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of options. The grounds and building itself were stunning and comfortable. The staff were lovely and their thoughtful touches made the stay fantastic (snacks, beautiful solarium, fireplaces, local drinks).

Very nice location next to Champlain College in a historic manor and Burlington is a great town to visit - we know it very well and we have stayed in a few places around town. After this the superlatives cease. We booked Room #1, the garden suite, with a sitting area and a fireplace in early September for November 3rd and when we arrived we were told by Grace, one of the two inexperienced staff members (college maybe, pleasant enough) that the fireplace had halted working 2 days before our visit and would not be fixed until next week. We still paid for it I can tell you! The garden terrace was cute but full of litter and our parking space , designated for Room #1, ended up being shared, stealthily in the middle of the night, with someone else who came in much later. In short, this place felt as though it was under management by private equity due to any lack of staff. Could they not have called a few days prior to our visit and fore warned us about the fireplace? Not customer-centric at all and the the staff are out from 7pm in the evening until 7am(?) and I can tell you that if any one had wanted to raise hell with the other guests, it would have been easy. Try Hotel Vermont down by the lake, it is managed extremely well - a little less space/dollar but good value.

Our stay at the Blind Tiger was fabulous. We had Room #6. It was a bit noisy in the morning from road traffic, but the comfort of the bed and sheets made it worth every second. The room was plenty spacious and the fireplace was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and eager to please. We even extended our stay by one night.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The house was so beautiful and perfectly styled. Breakfast in the sun room was so incredibly peaceful and inviting that I stayed in that room to draw and relax before check out!
