Hotel la Perla

A decent hotel near the Once train station. The room had, among other amenities, a ceiling fan, a wardrobe, a desk with a chair, and a TV. Breakfast was included (from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM); it's served not on-site but at the neighboring restaurant La Perlita; you need to pick up a breakfast voucher at the hotel reception. The Wi-Fi was free and worked well. The safe didn't work. Also, the room overlooked the road (Avenida Jujuy), which was a bit noisy.

The location was a bit off, there's a noisy street outside our window, but we only needed it for one night, so it was fine. We checked in 3 hours early, which was great. Breakfast was at a nearby cafe, not much food, but these buns (munaluns) and croissants are great!

A classic hotel without frills, but the location is very convenient. Breakfast is included, and the media moons are delicious. The elevator works, which is important; it's a good value. The hotel has a restaurant with delicious food.

Unfortunately, the photos on the website don't reflect reality—the rooms look much more modest in person. Overall, the hotel is decent: very clean linens and towels, and shampoo and soap are provided in the bathroom. However, the rooms themselves are small and not as pictured. The neighborhood leaves much to be desired—it's not very desirable, and going out in the evening is truly uncomfortable. Breakfast is available at a nearby restaurant for an additional fee. The receptionist will take you there. The price is 5,000 pesos, which includes three medialunas, a choice of coffee or tea, or orange juice. Overall, if the neighborhood were safer, the hotel would be a good value for the money.

All that was missing was a snack and a comfortable bench.

The room had a peculiar smell and the location was busy. There were cars on the avenue all night, so it was not quiet when sleeping.
