Mercure Properties in Budapest

Excellent location and environment. The room was very spacious with two bathrooms and a sauna. The breakfast was rich and the complimentary afternoon tea was exquisite. It was very pleasant to sit on the street behind the hotel and enjoy a cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Parking is available, though it's a third-party lot roughly 100 meters from the hotel, but it's free for guests. Despite being located right next to a main road, the hotel's soundproofing is quite good, so it's not noisy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also decent. Breakfast was acceptable; you can certainly fill up. However, during exhibitions at the New International Expo Center, the hotel's value for money is extremely poor. Prices are heavily inflated, costing 500-600 RMB per night, whereas normally around 200 RMB would be sufficient.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. But the room is quite old and realised the body wash and shampoo bottle were empty. Not sure the air conditioning is working we adjusted to the strongest wind but not cold at all. We still need to open the window because the room was too stuffy. They offer wide selection breakfast and the location is pretty good whereby the subway is located outside the hotel and the transport to city centre is right opposite the hotel.
