Hotel Oktogon Haggenmacher by Continental Group

The Hotel Oktogon is a gorgeous hotel with extremely helpful staff and an excellent location near the House of Terror Museum and many good restaurants.

I stayed at Hotel Oktogon Haggenmacher with my mom and we had a really lovely experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, stylish and very well located, and everything felt clean and comfortable. One of my favorite parts was definitely the breakfast! There was a great selection, especially the cheese plates, and I absolutely loved being able to make fresh orange and grapefruit juice myself in the morning. 🍊🍊 It was such a nice touch and made the breakfast feel even more special. Location is great! Few meters walk from the House of Terror Museum !! The staff were friendly and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was great. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Budapest and would happily come back!

Our stay at Hotel Oktogon was very pleasant. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The whole building was air-conditioned, which was a welcome relief after a long day out in the heat. Our room had lovely high ceilings that made it feel spacious, along with AC. The hotel's architecture is beautiful too, especially the main hall, which added real character. Breakfast was another highlight: a fresh, varied buffet spread that tasted deliciou and great value for the price. The location is excellent too, central with plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend !
