Buda Castle Hotel Budapest Reviews

Very nice stay in Buda Castle Hotel. The location is perfect and you are able to take several buses to main tourist attractions in city, the bus station is just 5-min walk from the hotel. Walkable to Matthias Church and Bastion, lovely to see night view of the Danube. Close to Deli station if you take train to Budapest. Room is clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Overall highly recommended !

Perfect location and nice staff in the hotel. Room is a very spacious and bathroom with plenty of items. Breakfast is served with a local food.

A very beautiful, refined hotel right in the heart of the Castle District, next to Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. It's easily accessible by public transport, or if you're good on your feet, you can climb the many stairs to get up there. We had a lovely, spacious suite with a view of the inner courtyard. It was wonderfully quiet and cozy. The breakfast offered a great variety, and every morning there was delicious, fresh scrambled eggs. We would gladly come back again 🤗

Great location and good room. Originally booked room that ended up having stairs with bed on loft. We didn’t like that room and the staff was helpful and moved us to their “budget room”. They didn’t offer a discount but we liked that room better anyway. Breakfast was good.

Best location Parking is not easy

The hotel is small but very exquisite, with a superb location right within the tourist area, very close to Fisherman's Wharf, the church, and the castle—just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel service was excellent! We arrived around 8:00 AM and initially wanted to leave our luggage at the front desk, but the staff said we could check in and go to our rooms in 30 minutes. We each paid €14 for breakfast, and then went to our rooms. The breakfast was also very good! Many thanks to the gentleman at the hotel front desk for allowing us to get some rest after our long flight! And thank you to Ctrip for recommending this great hotel!

The room is large, much larger than the average standard room, the service attitude is good, the air conditioning is sufficient, and the breakfast is delicious and fresh.

Location: On the Buda side, a 5-minute walk from Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church, perfect for a morning getaway to see the Pest scenery! The Fisherman's Bastion is truly beautiful in the morning! Amenities: The room was spacious and bright, and included slippers, which was rare! It was also relatively clean and quiet! Meals: Breakfast was simple, consisting of coffee, bread, eggs, and juice, but filling enough! Getting Around: Pest is a bit far, so a taxi was more convenient! We took an Uber when we left and arrived right on time, not even a little early! Price: The hotel was reasonably priced and a good value! Worth it!

The hotel is not big and the duplex is not very convenient. Breakfast is okay. It's close to Fisherman's Bastion and it's very convenient to go to surrounding attractions. You can watch the night view at night and the restaurants nearby are also delicious.
