Danubius Hotel Arena

The staff was very nice, the hotel is very close to the metro station.

The service here is truly outstanding. The reception team is professional, efficient, and always welcoming. Everything was handled smoothly and quickly, which is especially important when traveling for business. The breakfast is excellent, high quality, fresh, and with a very good variety. Even during busy hours, everything is well organized and constantly refilled. The staff works very professionally and maintains a pleasant atmosphere. The location is one of the biggest advantages of this hotel. The metro station is just a one-minute walk away, with a direct connection to the city center in about 8–10 minutes. The Arena shopping mall is also very close, so you have everything you need within walking distance, restaurants, shops, and services. Overall, it’s a very convenient and comfortable hotel for business travel. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely return again.

Location was good for our type of business. We had a conference which was close. Amenities are little bit outdated but all other was good.

The hotel feels old. For a 4-star hotel, I'd say it's poor. Taking off one star would probably be acceptable. The soundproofing is questionable. The sink was covered in deep scratches, and the toilet lock was broken—it was impossible to close the door. The plumbing overall needs replacing. The TV would randomly stop working for about 30 seconds—which was a bit annoying given the World Cup. I didn't try breakfast. Overall, it's an okay option for a couple of nights if the location suits you.
