If there are three of you, I'd suggest not adding an extra bed. The twin beds in a double room are usually spacious enough. Adding a bed would just make the room feel cramped. The breakfast selection is quite extensive, and the view is also lovely.

The location is excellent, with views of Buda Castle and the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. It's also a convenient 5-15 minute walk to Elizabeth Bridge and Green Bridge. Most places are within walking distance. The hotel breakfast is good, with different options every day.

Thank you for early check-in The room deco is great and cozy. The view is excellent, can directly see the buda castle from Windows. It is really convenience to go tour aroud this city. The location is really great, it just took us 10 mins to go to the dock and take the boat tour on the river. In addition, we felt really unsafe when we see that there is a door on our room, the hotel helped us change a room without a door. Thanks!

Stepping in was a pleasant surprise! Such a beautiful hotel and a gorgeous room, with the enchanting Danube at night right outside the window. Truly lives up to the Marriott name – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Budapest.

Before my trip, I spent ages looking for accommodation in Budapest, constantly debating whether to stay in Buda or Pest. I finally decided on the Marriott in the Pest district, and it truly was the perfect choice! ✔️✔️✔️ 🤩 Most of the main tourist attractions are in the Pest area. From the Marriott, it's super close to St. Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament Building, Liberty Bridge, and the Central Market. You can actually walk to most of them, but if you're feeling tired, you can buy a 24-hour travel pass. (A quick heads-up: I tried to buy a 24-hour group pass but found out after confirming multiple times that they only offer single passes now). Usually, it's just a two-stop ride, which saves a lot of energy! 🤩 August, the height of summer, was incredibly hot! After visiting an attraction or two, the heat would become unbearable. It was great to be able to pop back to the hotel to rest and cool down whenever needed 😊 🤩 We were incredibly lucky! Our flight landed in Budapest at 6 AM that day, and we reached the hotel just after 7 AM. I had planned to try my luck asking for an early check-in. The gentleman at the front desk was very humorous, saying, 'Our usual check-in time is 3 PM, so arriving at 7 AM is a 'super early check-in'!' Nevertheless, he managed to find us an available room, and we were settled in before 8 AM, which allowed us to freshen up immediately. After exploring for a bit in the morning, having lunch, and then a good two-hour nap, we were re-energized and ready to head out again around 3 PM 😊 🤩 The Marriott is incredibly well-located! It's a mere 3-minute walk to the famous 'Comme Chez Soi' restaurant, 5 minutes to Red Pepper, and 5 minutes to Boat Dock 10. The M2 metro station is just a 2-minute walk away. We also stumbled upon VigVarju Restaurant, which is only 2 minutes on foot (it has a great ambiance, delicious food, is more affordable than the popular/trendy spots, and doesn't require a reservation – highly recommend!). Everything is essentially within a five-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient ✌ 🌹🌹🌹 Because the gentleman (at the front desk) allowed me such an early check-in, I promised him I'd write a 'super good comment'🤩. Seriously, you definitely won't regret staying here! 😁

The hotel boasts a prime location on the Pest side of the Danube, offering stunning views of Buda Castle and the river. Most major attractions are just a 1-2 km walk away, or a quick taxi ride. The hotel breakfast was also great, and the doormen provided excellent service. While the riverfront is vibrant with music and many bars, the hotel's soundproof windows effectively block out any noise, so you barely hear a thing.

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, we booked through trip.com 2 deluxe river view rooms, then I send the hotel and email asked for connected rooms, once I arrived the hotel 2 girls at the reception were too friendly they upgraded my rooms to the next level which was sea view with buda castle view and connected which is made my day, the hotel location is so great I just walked from the hotel to buda castle to the parliament to Margaret island then go back by Uber, directly in front of the hotel you can take boat trip, behind the hotel the fashion street full of cloths stores and restaurants, breakfast was good , amenities are not much but fair enough
