Stayed for four nights and had a great time! The hotel is in the old town and has a great location. It takes a few minutes to get to the main street. Turn left at the main street entrance and there is a supermarket. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the Grand Place clock tower. The back garden is small and elegant. I sat down and ordered afternoon tea twice. The hotel waiters I met were of high quality and very enthusiastic, which is a plus for the hotel. I called a taxi three times at the front desk, and they all charged the meter price. There was a little problem with the sink in the bathroom on the first day of stay. It was very warm to put a card and a box of chocolates. The medieval city of Bruges and this castle hotel will be eternal and beautiful memories!

The hotel is in the perfect location to visit and experience all that Bruges has to offer, it is literally 2 mins from the Belfry and the main square. We drove to Bruges and used their secure underground garage for the duration of our stay. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, the bed in particular was very comfy! We had a very small balcony overlooking the road, which was lovely to get the atmosphere. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and there was no iron / ironing board (although they were available from reception is needed). The bathroom was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for the shower. Although the hotel has a terrace, you can’t use it past 10pm due to noise restrictions, so we moved inside and were served by the stand out star of the hotel for us… Vlaktko the excellent bar man. He makes the best Moscow Mules! He was friendly and attentive and went over and above to help us. We found the check in / check out service to be a little slow. Overall, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation, it is just perfectly located and if you stay then say Hi to Vlatko!
The NH Brugge hotel is set in a former monastery that dates back to the 17th century. The hotel is within walking distance to most of Bruges’ top attractions. From here, you can easily reach the town center and its beautiful canals, cobbled streets, and famous pedestrian market square in just 10 minutes on foot. If you are in the city for business, the Oud St Jan Congress Center is less than a five-minute walk away. NH Brugge has 149 spacious rooms with large comfortable beds. Our guests can feel at home with free Wi-Fi access in each room, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. We serve a daily fresh breakfast buffet that offers a wide variety of options for any taste. Have a casual lunch at the Jan Breydel Bar and sample authentic Belgian beer by the cozy fireplace. During the summer months, enjoy a drink on our garden terrace. There is a gym for guests to use. The hotel also has 8 meeting rooms for up 250 people.

nice location with a bus stop nearby to the train station. there are many waffle shops and souvenir shops nearby.
the hotel was renovated from an old building i guess as there is no air conditioner. only a fan was provided.
but the scenery outside the windows is great. can view the river from there. the bathroom was bright and clean.
however, there was a big step from the door to the door. don’t quite understand why such room was provided to us (we were having two big luggages and two hand carry luggages). other rooms don’t have such steps as no notice was placed at their doors.

The room was exactly what I expected in the pictures. The large crystal chandelier is more than 4 meters high. Perfect temperament. In the city center, you can come back and take a rest when you are tired from shopping. There is a delicious restaurant opposite, and you can enjoy the street view when you open the window.
The only drawback is that the air conditioner is too cold and there is no outdoor breakfast area
Overall very satisfied

This was a last minute booking for me after my train to Germany was cancelled. I was in Brussels and decided to hop on a train to Brugges and made the booking on my phone on the way. I walked from the train station, about 15 minute walk, and was greeted by a wonderful woman at reception who spoke many languages including English. It was around 12:30 and I asked if I could drop off my backpack so I could look around Brugges until the 3pm check in. She checked for an available room and I got an early check in - wonderful! I had a ground floor garden room and I loved it. So luxurious. Bathrobes, kettle with tea and instant coffee, a safe, full bathroom, desk, and a large comfortable bed. Outside the room is a small wrought iron table and chairs with a view of the garden. Very peaceful. This is the type of hotel I'm meant to stay in! Hotel is a couple of minutes walk to the main pedestrian areas that have lots of chocolate shops and cafes. Keep walking and there will be more shops and cafes. Great location, wonderful staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights here and would definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back to Brugges.
Bruges is called the “Venice of the North” because it has numerous canals which cross the city. The 4-star Golden Tulip Hotel De’Medici is located in this romantic city, on one of the most romantic canals of Bruges, only few minutes walking distance from the main Market Square. We are looking forward to welcoming you.

Very good hotel. The hotel is good. The only thing we bought was not to go because it is not worth 20 Euros. There is only one sauna and a massage tank. It is estimated that there is too much disinfection. Was it hurt ...
Explore the lovely city of Bruges and relax in one of our rooms we offer in the historical centre. The ibis Brugge Centrum is located in a pretty medieval building, which really adds an authentic touch to your trip! All rooms include free WiFi, a work desk, private bathroom with products, flat-screen TV and Sweet Beds. The hotel restaurant offers regional specialties, so you can live and eat like a real local. Fancy a drink after dinner? Our bar is open 24 hours a day.

Located right within walking distance from the city centre and tourist attractions. Very easy to locate. There is a public carpark charges about €15 a day. Right next to the local shops and cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Cleanliness is good although my bedsheets felt scratchy and itchy. Had booked a Queen bed but been told that they couldn't fulfill this booking and there were no other rooms available so had a European style Twin which moves if you so much as shift the covers. Not the most comfortable bed to sleep in because it moved and there wasnt an option to secure it to the wall or to each other so there was less movement. The service is OK. The staff seem busy but are polite. The breakfast is a cold continental option not really worth paying extra for since the cafes are much better. The rooms on the ground floor aren't as pleasant and you can definitely hear all your neighbours and the street in this hotel as the walls are quite thin. I stayed during the weekend and could hear everyone else in the hallways just walking to my room.
Novotel Brugge Centrum is a newly renovated hotel and offers a contemporary, relaxed atmosphere in Bruges city centre, ideal for families and business travellers. Easily accessible by train and with a car park nearby, our 4-star hotel is the perfect base for exploring the Venice of the North on foot. Enjoy tasty dishes in our modern restaurant or a cheerful moment at the bar. In fine weather, our heated outdoor swimming pool awaits.

The location of the hotel is very good. It's only a few minutes' walk to Bruges Grand Place. The room facilities are a bit outdated but clean. The room is not very big, but it's okay for two people to stay. The room has air conditioning and a safe. It was a very good experience, and I will continue to stay in this hotel when I come back next time

Outstanding
We had a 4 night stay in a standard room. The room was extremely compact with a small space on 3 sides of the bed, just enough to walk through - although sloping ceilings encroached into this space so you had to lower your head. Wardrobe space was limited, with a 1 metre hanging rail and 3 shelves, space was taken up by the safe and the chiller. There was a small dressing table but we needed the space for our own toiletries, cosmetics and personal items. The décor was recent and pleasant if you like dark colours. The shower room was typically sized and equipped, although room service did not replace used toiletries without specific requests. Breakfast was quite good, we had a glass of champagne included and usually selected eggs with bacon and smoked salmon, accompanied by cold meats, cheeses and pastries. Cakes were available but not to our liking. Only 1 or 2 rooms were occupied in addition to our own during our stay and guests were only staying for 1 or 2 nights. The narrow stairs from the rooms to reception are hazardous because they go around a bend so they are very narrow on the inside and there is a large ornamental pot on the wide side. My wife lost her footing one morning and sustained a bruised ankle. Located next to Minnewater and the Kasteel, it is ideally placed for a quiet break in a picturesque location, although it is a 10 minute walk to the centre. At this time of year (early February) the outside covered bar is freezing despite the sheep skin blankets available. Only the 2 chairs next to the fireplace are 'warm'. Overall a nice place for an overnight stay but not good value for the price. This is almost the most expensive hotel in Bruges costing us €956 for 4 nights (without city tax), plus an additional €80 for parking. We find the Dukes' Palace, or The Grand Hotel Casselbergh, offer much more character, spacious rooms and large choices for breakfast.
GGuest UserLovely hotel tucked away amongst the cobbled streets of Bruges. Horse carriages canter by every few minutes. About 15 mins from the main square but plenty to explore around the hotel. Many choices of food and beer..the local brewery is 5 minutes away. Hotel is comfortable, clean with the normal amenities like coffee, hair dryer etc. We had a large room for 3 pax. Service was good. Breakfast was well stocked.. better value than eating out. If you are an early riser explore the surrounding area without the tourists..well done to management
MMarcHoSpent at this nice lil cosy white place for 3 nights. It was hassle-free, clean and spacious room. Located at the heart of the Market Square but fret not about the lively place cuz it was at this quiet end corner of the street. Hence, you will have a peaceful rest. Just next to it rested the 'Adriaan Coffeebar' where they served freshly brewed coffee and pastries. Further across the street was this Argentinian steak place called 'Churrasco Argentino Steakhouse' where you will get one the best steaks imo. They have lunch set at a lower price tag but also comes with a smaller portion if you have a small stomach.
YykThe hotel service is pretty good.
The location is quite close to the station, the room is clean, and the staff is very nice
But the entrance is difficult to find
Good value for money, there is a shuttle bus to the city nearby, very convenient
Overall recommendation

We travel on city breaks quite a lot and I’d say this hotel is good/average. It’s in a good location, it’s quiet and clean and comfortable. It’s a little bit dated though and could do with a lick of paint and some new carpets. Breakfast was €19 and has everything other city hotels provide. We were going to eat out for breakfast but it worked out a similar price outside and the hotel meant you could get a few cups of coffee and as much food as you needed. Brugge is quite expensive compared to other cities and you cannot get tap water alongside your meal and alcohol anywhere. They want you to buy bottled water only. Strange concept being from the uk where we are served free jugs without asking. Top tip, visit the Halve Mann brewery for a lovely lunch then tour of the brewery. The Jaans hospital is beautiful. Bruges is such a beautiful place.
PPhotoguyThe location is average, the room itself is very nice, but one exception…the chairs in the room. They are not comfortable to sit on for longer than 30 minutes.
I don’t understand why a hotel like this would pick such cheap and uncomfortable chairs.
Ggdraco9The surrounding environment was really nice. It's a country hotel in the forest where you can go for a walk and swim. The air is good and I highly recommend it for families. However, you have to go through the forest to get to the hotel, so be careful while driving as it's not possible to get to both directions. They charge for parking. The breakfast was really good. Thank you.
GGuest UserOne of the worst lodging experiences out of the hundreds of trips I’ve taken. The story begins with me mistakenly booking for august 11-13, 2023 instead of the intended dates of august 12-14, 2023. So, I made an additional reservation for august 13-14, 2023, to stay as planned. Both reservations were fully prepaid on agoda.com (€199 for the first 2 days and €108 for the third day). Upon checking in on august 12, 2023, I was informed that the 'paid-for' room was already occupied by someone else, and I was not allowed to use it. Their reason was that I didn't check in on august 11, 2023. The hotel voluntarily cancelled my reservation and ”gave the room away” to someone else on august 12-13, 2023, WITHOUT ANY CONSENT from me or ANY PRIOR NOTICE. It's a ridiculous joke. I am renting a room, not participating in horse racing or any kind of ******** like that. I'm i don't need to arrive earlier than others to use the room I’ve paid for, right? Even the front desk staff mentioned there was nothing they could do at the time and offered no assistance or resolution for the situation. I struggled to find a hotel on the same day and had to pay a substantial fee for last-minute accommodation in Bruges, while the room I paid for is being rented by the hotel to someone else. As for the second reservation on august 13, 2023, the hotel's conditions were just as terrible as their treatment of customers. There was no nightstand as pictured, not even a single clothes hanger, the room was too hot to close the door in august (no air conditioning or fan), and the noise was unbearable with constant disturbances from the adjacent room's door and footsteps in the corridor. A 'wonderful' experience for a night's stay here, priced at €307. Congratulations, you're certainly running a splendid business. P/s: Bruges is a beautiful city but this hostel is a SHAME.
徐徐This city is particularly beautiful. It is recommended to stay for at least three days. I stayed for two days and it felt a bit short. Love very much... Hope to go again if I have a chance. The hostel is so-so, but there is nothing special. The main thing in the hostel is luck. The quality of the roommates in the same room is very important. Some make noise in the middle of the night. Some keep kneading plastic products at six in the morning. The mental state and mood of the two days
AAnita ChouThe hotel is located near the river bank, there is a free shuttle bus stop in Bruges in front of the door, located near the city government and the famous Bruges clock tower, the surrounding environment is very quiet!
Hotel picks self-service check-in,
Breakfast included!
The room is small, the thick mattress is very comfortable, but the small bathroom space is a disadvantage!
