Incredible staff. That’s the first thing to stay, they really make the difference. The hotel itself is very on trend, you get a free cocktail on arrival, and the breakfast which isn’t expensive, is good. The room is very comfy and well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the shower room, although small, was more than adequate. It’s all about the staff though, incredible service.

Clean and tidy room services. After Bristol Air Ballon Festive , My family was happy living here with tasty breakfast and good location to reach out high street and town centre in ease. Recommended to visit again .

A two night stay for two couples meeting at Bristol for a weekend getaway Stay could have been better in all areas Having not known what time we would arrive and not knowing the area we had pre-booked a table for evening meal at Chophouse the restaurant attached to the hotel, we thought this to be the easiest option. Very quiet in both the bar and restaurant area we expected a first class service … unfortunately not what we got! Cocktails took over 20 minutes to make which was really disappointing (they were nice enough when they finally arrived) We went through to the restaurant offered a set menu and normal menu Two chops were ordered from the set menu which ironically (chophouse) were not available a burger and fish off the main menu were also ordered, the fish resembling a sprat was quite disappointing, the burger was good - thank goodness the company was fantastic as the food didn’t surpass much more than ok. Having experienced the evening bar and the slow service well the breakfast experience downstairs was something else!! 2 mornings for breakfast quite a contrast too, Saturday morning was quite good, everything was available, cereal, juices, selection of breads, pots of yogurt and granola, smoked salmon and hot food we had breakfast at 9.00am, the restaurant Sunday we had breakfast at 9.30am, what a contrast, tables hadn’t been cleared (there were several empty and in this state) we cleared a table ourselves and had to request for a waitress to clean and wipe the table down. Where we had placed the previous used plates and cups , were left there and not cleared by the waitress. We went to the service area and it was a nightmare; throughout the time we were there the service was poor with lack of food displays and lack of cutlery and bowls, there was just chaos and what seemed like one guy working and trying to keep the place moving. In contrast to the day before, juices were running out, no available cereal bowls, no bread for toasting, no yoghurt granolas, at one point no mugs or glasses to drink from and the hot food ran out with something constantly being waited on. There were two waitresses that were a waste of time, they needed to be managed and to be productive, they had no idea about offering great service …. When we commented to the guy about being busy he said this is nothing 😳 The room was on the first floor at the rear, quiet and a comfortable bed. However, the door didn’t shut properly and had to be pulled / pushed hard to ensure was shut. The bathroom was ok however the shower tray filled and you were standing in water that took an eternity to drain away

Situated centrally but accessible for cars, the Delta Hotel works fine for a stopover night prior to a flight Being part of Marriott Bonvoy means the recently refurbished hotel has higher standards than others: spacious shiny lobby, seating areas, well-served restaurants and all the extra amenities. Unlike many other places working by the clock, the restaurant received our late arrival and food order, enjoyed over watching Match of the Day. The staff were particularly impressive. Important to me it had a terrace to the restaurant on the first floor. It looks over nothing much but urban concrete and the roundabout but it allows me to have my smoke respectfully! The room is spacious, has a personalised TV welcoming the guests by name but its smart features unfortunately didn’t work (yet) so no Netflix for us that night! Thank God, there was not just the Holy Bible but also the Book of Mormons on the right hand bedside table! Was a lovely hotel. Set in central Bristol so perfect location. Room was comfortable, clean and modern. Staff were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend staying. Was a great price for the time of year

I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Bristol, and it was a pleasant experience overall. One of the best aspects was the location—just an 8-minute walk from Temple Meads train station. The weather was sunny, making the walk really enjoyable, though there are a few stairs along the way to keep in mind. We arrived earlier than expected at 10:30 AM and were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was already ready. That was a great start to our stay! Our room on the 7th floor was spacious and spotlessly clean, except for some permanent stains in the shower—not dirt, but not particularly nice to look at. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I honestly had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a while. It was also a lovely room for families with a child, as our kid finally got a real comfy bed rather than a wobbly open sofa bed. The lobby was a nice spot to relax after a day of walking around the city. They offer water for guests and even have some board games, which was a fun touch. Breakfast was decent, though not particularly memorable. My main issue was the lack of non-dairy options for making a cappuccino. While they offer non-dairy milks, it wasn’t possible to make a cappuccino with them unless you paid extra for a barista-made one. I found this disappointing, especially since more and more people are opting for dairy-free alternatives. It’s an area that could definitely be improved. It's not worth booking direct with the hotel as they don't bother to be competitive. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a well-located hotel, with just a few minor areas for improvement.

Have used this hotel many times in the past when seeing a show in the Hippodrome. It’s one of the few hotels in Bristol with a decent car park on site (£12 per day). It’s a 15 minute walk to the Hippodrome and easily do able. Outside the hotel can be found some cafes and a pub. The hotel hasn’t really changed much over the years. The Novotel sign has worn off the front door but otherwise the interior is the same since I visited it a few years ago. The room (114) was at the rear of the hotel, clean, large comfy bed and most importantly it was quiet at night. Pillows were very hard however and a choice of pillow in the room would have been good. I also have to knock a star off because the staff at reception were not the most friendly. No conversation, no mention of belonging to the loyalty club, just all very formal. That’s not a problem if that’s what you like but a little more friendliness/warmth would of been nice. No one asked how our stay was when we left. Otherwise another lovely stay at this hotel.

This was absolutely a great hotel with great location. Excellent services , you must take the breakfast if you stay there. Highly recommend for family trip and business. Close to all facilities.. will book again whenever I go there .

Great central hotel with parking. Staff were extremely friendly. There was an issue with the lifts not working during my stay, so I was offered discount on my stay and complimentary drinks. Great customer service! I will definitely stay again.

We arrived on a late flight from Portugal with a particular room booked which we had done through a third party booking service (queen). The hotel was clearly very busy and we were put into a room with twin double beds. This was not ideal and we asked the receptionist if it was possible to have the room we had booked. She moved us to a much nicer room (same footprint but better layout which meant I could share a bed with my husband!). This was a real 5/5 from us because despite an initial problem the really kind and professional receptionist went out of her way to fix it, and also comped us a couple of drinks which was unexpected and massively appreciated. It has made me much more likely to choose this chain again, knowing that a small hiccup will be dealt with nicely. Great staff. Room was comfortable and well proportioned and I like the fact that the toiletries are in dispensers so less plastic waste! The bar was lovely as well with really nice common areas to relax. Late night bar staff were charming and friendly. Well done Hilton!
