The facilities were pretty old, with the air-con being controlled by a old-fashioned knob and the fixed water sprinkler. Yet the room was large and clean. The hotel was also close to some coffee shops and bars.

The staff at Sofitel were very supportive, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There was dust on the table, the floor mat was not properly cleaned, and the bathroom also required better cleaning. I requested housekeeping service, but the issues were not addressed. While the customer service was good, the housekeeping standards need improvement.

Overall the Sofitel is a good business hotel. Conveniently located to Brisbane CBD and have all the basic things available. The hotel overall was nice and clean but the decor is bit dated including the bathroom. The bed was a bit average and seems bit old with the mattress not very flat so sleeping was not so pleasant.

We enjoyed the stay and the breakfast is good, very happy to see we can make our own flavor fresh juice with the fresh veggies and fruits. All the staff are very helpful and easy to chat with when I need to talk with. Will come back again in the future.

Best 5-star hotel in Brisbane. The staff are amazing, very hospitable and accomodating. Food is delicious.

Friendly staff and service. Excellent location. The lobby is polished and well decorated. However, the room is very old-fashioned and not very clean.

It’s quite run down. My room didn’t have the water dispenser that my friends did. But the reception was friendly and quick to respond.

Stayed here for our anniversary and it was surprisingly pleasant and awesome. Staff were genuinely attentive and meet our needs, and room service was excellent throughout the stay. The hotel sits right above Central Station with direct internal access, super convenient with escalators linking straight to the street level. Room size was nice, bed comfy, though I do wish more lighting to make room a bit brighter. Still, the overall vibe felt premium without being stiff. Great base for exploring the city, and we felt well taken care of from check-in to check-out.

Service and facilities were great! Although I wish the carpet in my room was steam cleaned.

Location is superb. City view is nice. Hotel room is a bit old but the lobby looks fancy. Hotel doesn’t provide complementary bottled water, instead they provide a water machine. But the one in my room is covered with dust and we had to buy water at the nearby stores.

This is just about the most convenient hotel of your travelling to Brisbane. Just catch the air train to Brisbane Central Station, up a couple of escalators and you're in the Sofitel lobby. I've never experienced a more convenient Sofitel. 5 stars

The room was a bit old-fashioned, and the shower was so small it was hard to turn around. The location was great, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, but the facilities and decor felt like they were from the 80s or 90s.

The hotel facilities are a little old, but overall they are very good. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is located in an excellent location, right in the city center. It is definitely worth recommending for those who love shopping.
