Innit Bliss

The only notable thing from my stay was the memory foam mattress, very comfortable to sleep on. However, no shampoo was supplied only barely filled up hand wash and body wash which was a struggle to get out? Secondly, the amount of dust above the bathroom was insane I probably have lung issues from the amount of dust and wouldn't be surprised if there was mould growing near that bathroom. Shower was temperamental too switching from boiling hot to freezing cold water without even touching the dial, and I was unable to clamp it on the stand so I was forced to duck because of how low the shower was. Shower was also making obnoxious noises and had a tear so you can tell it's not been maintained. If these people who are staying at your hotel are damaging things like the shower that's where the deposit money should be going. TV was angled stupidly not to even face towards the bed. Window was difficult to open and need to be cleaned it had lots of smudges. Almost every plug socket either didn't work or was not properly secured (hanging out of the wall instead of being stable). The lamp's wire was tucked under the bed so I tried plugging it in and what a surprise it doesn't work? Needs to be replaced. The most memorable problem was the fact that by the time I checked in we got to the door and there was someone else who couldn't get in either because while we were entering the correct code the latch behind the door was still up so we had to wait for maintenance to come out and sort it. 20 minutes of my time wasted instead of preparing beforehand? Location was nice and good view outside and the price makes sense, you really don't even live up to the 3 star rating I'm surprised it's that high. But hey, I survived so yeah.

This trip was a little frustrating. I booked a deluxe double room as the amenities stated a private bathroom with bathtub. After booking I did ask the hotel if it was the room with the tub in the bay window which they said it wasn't so thought I'd have one in the bathroom. On arrival I had a tiny bathroom with a shower. I spoke via the app as they don't have a reception desk and they told me I booked a basic double room. You can see my conversation and my booking. Apparently you have to specifically book a room with a bath. I know it's not the end of the world but I booked this to have a night away from the city with chilling, bath, movie and wine in mind. The room was nice but some furniture needs a touch up of paint. The hotel is an old building so you can hear everyone when they take a step. Some finer touches need addressing like the suspended extension chord so the TV can be turned on that also you can't watch a single programme on without it freezing. They could use a little shelf to put the cleaning products on in the shower as I'm a small person and found it tight to get down to grab the shower gel off the floor. It's close enough to the train station and town and the beach is literally a street away. There are plenty of food shops nearby too. A pleasant stay but frustrating as I would have booked somewhere else re the bathtub.

Really nice room, location is okay (a little bit of a walk to the main town but nothing major). Very easy check in. Would definitely stay here again

Quiet hotel close to the sea. Self-check in it means no staff in the hotel, all is over the phone or online. No parking onsite so need to pay an extra for that, average £20 for a day. Have not seen a breakfast area but website says it is available at an extra cost.

Nice place for the price, well located, close to the beach and town. Bed was very comfy and sheets clean etc. Sure it looked a bit tired in places, but for £38 a night I'm not sure what people expect! Had everything I needed for a quiet and inexpensive night away. Did have a bit of mould on one of the walls by the sink, needs repainting and fixing. I was happy to have a kettle in the room with some instant coffee and UHT milk for the morning, and it also had a hairdryer and iron.

This such a lovely little inn! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are charming, plus there’s a spa!

Not really convenient but good price. Really friendly staff, recommend.
