Malfranza Apartments

Convenient location for the places I needed to visit. Less than 10 mins in most cases. Rooms were relatively quiet although the resident dog intermittently barked for some time but eventually stopped. The room was clean and the host was responsive and welcoming and provided additional help and services. There was cold and hot shower, toiletries and a small bottle of water although it seemed I accidentally got two. I did not notice any coffee or tea bags but I did not enquire as my stay was short. I used their taxi service and Michael, the driver is a great guy. Almost like we were old friends catching up after several years.

The owner was very welcoming, and I was very satisfied with my stay.

Authentic Barbados experience. Was in a local area not on the tourist *****. The owner was very helpful in arranging all our transport requirements. A good introduction to Barbados.

Nice simple place for a good price Let us be clear on what this place is. This residence is a series of rooms which are the extensions to someone's house. The accommodations are simple in that you have bedroom, bathroom, tv, internet and maybe a kitchen. If you are ok with this setup, then this is a fantastic place to stay. The host Gregory is very friendly and ready to accommodate. Wifi wasn't a problem for me. I walked to the Sky Mall to get groceries which is about 20 minutes away though part is a long the highway. There is some noise from the highway, but it is manageable. There are no parties or night clubs in the area to disturb your sleep. Being along the highway, I was able to take the bus to Warrens where I had business. I also took the bus in the other direction to Oistins for the fish fry. Transportation is as good as one could expect for Barbados. This residence is as reasonable priced as anywhere in Barbados. I will definitely stay there again if I have to take another business trip in the area.

Saved my butt I was missing a connecting flight and had to stay one night in Barbados. Despite being quite late I was welcome personally by the owner, my mini-apartment had all you need and I could even pay the next day when settled in. Very personal and caring service.

Not recommended I cannot recommend Malfranza. I paid for a “private” place and received a shared one. They have a poor little dog tied all the time and barks almost every night for many hours. The place is behind Errol Barrow highway which is very noisy. If I go Barbados again I will choose another place for sure.

The service was great, the owners were very hospitable and the place had all the things needed for a comfortable stay.

We were greeted with a warm welcome, the apartment is very clean and it has everything you could possibly need. A taxi was arranged for us from the airport which was so helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

This property gave me the warm feeling of home a well deserved 5 stars. I appreciated contact made before I arrived for the arrangement of transportation. The best part of my trip was my stay.
