The hotel that I have been staying in Brescia is more retro. This time I came here and made some updates. The painting has also changed. Overall, it is good. The location is very good. In the city center and there are many shops and attractions around. It is worth staying.

I have been to Brescia once before and stayed in a fantastic boutique hotel, the Locanda Delle Mercanzie however it was fully booked and instead I stayed at the Albergo Orologio which is not that far away. This traditional styled hotel is in an excellent location wight in the heart of the centre of the old town and with a huge array of restaurants and bars within just a few seconds of walking! It’s also only a five or six minute walk with a wheeled bag from the Vittoria Metro station. Very convenient. Check-in was easy, the receptionist greeting with a smiling face, giving advice, telling you about the hotel etc. It always makes you feel better when you arrive at a hotel and the staff are so warm and friendly! I had booked a single room but ended up in a double room. Wifi was excellent, a fridge in the room, toiletries, plenty of plug points, air-conditioning (although turned off at this time of year), a TV, seat and desk, a small safe (passports and small items…too small for a laptop). The room and bathroom were very clean. The furniture was old but it suited the character of the hotel. Old style, almost boutique like. Breakfast was delicious. Superb coffee and made for you by the waitress. Buffet style cereals, yoghurts, breads and croissants, cake cold meats and cheese. Maybe not the greatest variety but it was all tasty and I enjoyed it. Overall I thought this hotel was quaint, it was convenient, it was clean, very well priced and the staff were friendly. I would definitely consider staying again if I return to Brescia.

Very nice hotel, comfortable in the center and clean. The only not insignificant flaw, which will make me rethink whether to return or not, is the noise that comes from outside. Unfortunately, the rooms are not soundproofed and you can hear all the chaos of the street; the noise woke me up at 05 in the morning from too much chaos.

I stayed at Hotel Igea in July 2022 and found it very difficult to find any fault. My room wasn't anything superior, just a normal room, but found it more than spacious, the bathroom was also very spacious. The curtains were very thick to ensure darkness when the sun comes up, large HD TV, mini-fridge which was very welcome in the climate and bed was comfy. The only negative sides about the hotel room was one or two areas of dust in high places which had clearly been continually missed and no bedside power sockets for charging devices. Staff were very friendly and professional, were more than happy to hold my luggage after checking out and the hotel restaurant is also an excellent standard with large, good quality portions. Very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a good value for money. If I return to Brescia, I would definitely stay here again.

Very poor experience starting with the 2 bedrooms booked together for expressively explained for family of 5 - and in 2 diff floors!! For 3 nights without any solution offered - Hôtel was not clean as a 4 star should be ! Check the fitness room for proof ! And finally only set of 1 person towels (although 3 weee booked) in the room . Breakfast staff GREAT ! Food pretty standard and hot food poor in quality! Scrambled eggs were socky like microwave cooked .... No questioning from the staff on our stay , how it was etc ... when leaving . Very poor experience-

When you go through, you can book directly, and occasionally stay for one night, you can only say the standard of Novotel.

Been here before, however same shortcomings every time. Rooms accumulate a lot of dust every day even if ventilation is shut down. Breakfast OK. Diner has only a few selection options, but very worthwhile. Communication with staff is everytime problematic allthough very nice people. Maybe the Italian way. Good free parking. The location is very strategic even if at first impression you think it is not. Plenty gas stations around the corner. The shopping mall own the road freccia Rossa this year was almost dead. Eat at hotel restaurant and don't try find better outside, waste of time. Especially the Elnos shopping center. Probably I return here every time.

I am more than disappointed by the experience of this structure and I feel completely engaged. Forget the photos you will see on the various booking sites because they match the moment the hotel opened and the situation is completely different to today. We start from the room, where the shower was completely absent and where there was only a plastic tent to divide the shower from the healthcare (on the sites only rooms with bath or shower plate). The wall was a hand-foot footprint, and there was a half-breaking lamp that was lucky, and we went up to the pool area at the latest floor, and the situation is not improving. The interior of the pool itself was not as bad as the surrounding environment, the little water stairway that you see in the photos where you wash your feet before you enter the water is empty and full of dirt that accumulates. Absent ombrells while beds in the best of the scenarios are only a little dirty, otherwise they present the broken network or are fully consumed by atmospheric agents. The dirty floor while in the metal bathtub on the side wall behind the beds the rug had made important beautiful holes. The maintenance in the pool area seems to have been absent for several months, not weeks or days, and it is also true to believe that the positive reviews read in the last period are true.

The hotel is very new, with an outdoor swimming pool. The subway station is right outside the door. It is 3 kilometers away from the scenic spot, about 4 stops away. The subway in Brescia is very new. The location is very convenient, and there is a supermarket next door. The hotel parking is free. The room is also quite big. The waiter's attitude is not very good. But considering that Double Tree is a business hotel, it is acceptable. Good value for money, recommended.
