"The location is an easy solution to go downtown by public transport: the bus station (bus line n.10) is in front of the hotel and the underground station (Ospedale) is just a few minute walk. The room was comfortable and large, and so was the bathroom. Our room on the 4th floor had a screened terrace with private table and chairs, next to the swimming pool, open in summer only. The room was really quiet, no noise coming from the roads nearby. Breakfast was fine with a fair offer of sweets, cheese, eggs, charcuterie, juices and yogurt. No fresh fruit nor vegetables were available, we would have loved it. Finally, the hotel staff was kind and helpful."

"location not always good, because the elevators to get there from the subway are not operational 24 hours. I arrived late and was not able to use it after crossing underground passage to the hotel. If I knew that I would have chosen an option where I don’t need to lift a heavy suitcase upstairs to get to the hotel. The elevator in the hotel works, though."

"Very cold and unfriendly staff. We spent just one night and we didn’t care to complain about their outdated amenities, we understood it was an old hotel, but the staff behavior especially in the morning before check-out was very unpleasant. We greeted and he clearly ignored us. We had a toddler who stood right where he sat and spoke and he didn’t even move his head like he didn’t notice us. No one looked at us till we went to the breakfast area. We wanted help with heating our croissants and no one wanted to speak to us, so my husband walked to the little oven right where all the food is and tried to warm it. This same staff who didn’t greet us back, came straight with attitude to say we can’t use the little oven without permission and his body language was totally unacceptable. You should put a note near the oven warning clients then. We have always warned our food at breakfast without problems. My family and I will never ever come to this hotel again because it wasn’t any cheaper than other hotels we have been to. And these other hotels were more modern and friendly"

Relais Il Leoncino

"Hotel halfway between a relais and a bb as commented by other visitors. Our room was more similar to a bb, furnished in a basic way. The room only provided two small bottles of shower gel and two bars of soap. New bathroom but unfortunately very cold: the towel warmer, heating element of the bathroom, did not work. Problems also in the room where we had to turn off the air conditioning during the night because it was too noisy. Being an attic room it cooled down very quickly. Overall unfortunately for us it was not a positive experience. We hope however that it is a problem limited to our room only."
