BBanglewxThe hotel's breakfast was great, and the kids absolutely loved the free ice cream. The decor is very modern and chic, which was a big hit with my young, same-sex friends. The pool was also clean and made for some great photos. My only minor complaint is that our particular room type wasn't in the best location, though I'm not sure about the others.

CCitron_HTThe hotel offers a shuttle service in Phu Quoc, which is definitely worth the money. First, a big thank you to Vincent at the shuttle station. Our flight arrived on time and our luggage came out quickly, so we got to the pick-up point at 3:15 PM. Our booked shuttle was for 5:45 PM, but there was also a shuttle departing at 3:15 PM. We initially thought we wouldn't be able to get on the earlier one, but Vincent was incredibly helpful. He spoke with the driver and managed to get us on that earlier shuttle, which we really appreciate.
Overall, the hotel's service was excellent and didn't dip at all, even during the Chinese New Year holiday. The hotel has its own private beach and an outdoor swimming pool in the center, with depths of 1.2m and 0.7m.
The only downside was the loud DJ music from nearby during the holiday period, which kept us from sleeping. This is something the hotel might want to address with the neighboring establishments.

✈✈️keaidexiaolinlinerI was a bit hesitant before booking, seeing all the bad reviews online. But when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this sea-view villa was! It was very spacious for our group of two adults and three children. The hotel service was also great. Although there was no Chinese-speaking staff, the front desk's English accent wasn't too strong.
The only drawback was the lack of cutlery in the kitchen. We bought some snacks back and had nothing to eat them with!
There were quite a few Koreans and Westerners around. The iced coffee at breakfast was so good, I drank it for four days straight. It was truly excellent.
We booked the Sheraton villa next door for the following four days. Honestly, even though both hotels are operated by the same owner, the Peach Hotel is noticeably much better in terms of service and facilities, and it's also more conveniently located. The breakfast there was very similar to Peach, with many of the same dishes. But there were too many Indians, if you know what I mean...
I personally found the pool to be very clean. It was just a few steps from the villa to the beach. The best part was having trees by the pool, so it wasn't too sunny.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located on the southwest side of the island, in an area filled with resorts. It's just a 1-2 minute walk from Phu Quoc Night Market, which is right across the street. The night market primarily features seafood restaurants and Korean eateries, so prices tend to be a bit high. We heard Duong Dong Night Market in Duong Dong town was slightly cheaper, but we found the prices there weren't particularly low either. About an 8-10 minute walk from the hotel, there's a popular local supermarket called KING KONG, where items are affordable and they have everything you could need – definitely worth checking out.
The hotel offers a diverse breakfast buffet.
The service is excellent; there's always someone to assist you, and they provide a free airport shuttle service every two hours, which you can book in advance via email or phone.
The room facilities weren't as outdated as some online reviews suggested; I found them quite new and they were cleaned daily, very tidy.
The hotel also does a great job with pest control, with whole-area pest treatment twice a week. Because of this, there were virtually no mosquitoes or insects on the balcony or in the room, except for one mosquito that snuck in on our last day and bit me a few times.
For two-pin plugs, you won't need an adapter.

SShaya liveIf you are planning a trip to Phu Quoc, location is the first thing you need to understand. The island is essentially split into two hubs: the South (home to Sunset Town and the famous cable car) and the North (home to the Vinpearl complex). The airport sits conveniently in the middle.
The Wyndham Grand is situated firmly in the North, making it a prime choice if you want easy access to the island's massive entertainment districts. Here is a breakdown of my recent stay.
The Location & Connectivity
The Wyndham’s greatest strength is its integration into the ”Vinpearl” ecosystem.
Seamless Access: The hotel is physically attached to the Corona ****** and the Radisson Blu, creating a large, walkable mini-city.
The Shuttle System: This is a lifesaver. The hotel provides regular shuttles to Vinpearl Safari, VinWonders, and Grand World. You don't need to worry about Grab or taxis to see the North's main attractions.
Dining & Facilities
I would describe the Wyndham Grand as an above-average 5-star resort. It feels grand and well-maintained.
The Buffet: One of the highlights was the breakfast spread. It was high quality, but more importantly, it offered a significant variety of Halal options, which can sometimes be hard to find in Vietnam.
Height Requirement FYI: Just a heads-up for families—most of the major rides at the nearby parks have a minimum height requirement of 140cm. It’s not a critique of the hotel, but definitely something to keep in mind so the kids aren't disappointed!
Service: The ”Mixed Bag”
This is where the experience faltered slightly. While the reception and room service teams were decent, professional, and understanding, the general floor staff lacked that ”5-star” intuition.
Right of Way: In most top-tier luxury hotels, staff are trained to yield to guests. Here, I frequently found staff members cutting in front of guests or walking directly in their path rather than stepping aside.
Grumpiness: There was a noticeable lack of warmth from some team members who seemed a bit ”over it.”
The Breakfast Rush: The most frustrating moment occurred during breakfast, the staff began clearing napkins, sugar, and table settings 15 mins before end while we were still seated and eating. It felt rushed and frankly unpolished for a resort of this caliber.
Similar was the case with the internal buggy. The staff would just shrug rather than guide.
Would I stay here again? Yes, primarily for the convenience and the food. However, if you are looking for that seamless, ”invisible” 5-star service where you feel pampered, you might find the staff's approach here a bit jarring. It’s a great ”utility” luxury hotel, but it hasn't quite mastered the finer points of hospitality yet.

AA-LeanThe hotel has a beautiful design and is very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. As we arrived early and were unable to check in yet, they kindly allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel. And we had to leave very early for our return flight and could not enjoy the hotel breakfast, they thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us to have at the airport. The hotel’s beach was also very clean and beautiful, very relaxing and enjoyable.

BBob Walker MaA really great hotel! They offer a free shuttle service to the airport, which is only a 9-15 minute taxi ride away. The facilities are quite new, and the swimming pool is massive with dining options on both sides, so you can eat right after your swim. The landscaping is beautiful, and you can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel. The service is top-notch; we truly felt at home. We stayed for three nights with our child and it was very comfortable. During the day, we visited the Big World and the zoo in the north. On our third day, we went back home from the hotel, and the journey was smooth sailing all the way. KING KONG MART is also very close by from here.

Ggggllloverall, not worth its money at this point. the place has potential since the location is sceneric, but a lot of work still has to be done. you can say that the hotel is not built fully and in product management terms it is rather a Minimum Usable Product. Avoid booking Cave room at all cost. details are below
my girlfriend decided to treat us to a nice place to stay at. we chose a cave room. we checked in, felt that the room is a little hot, turned on the ac and it seemed to not work properly. we asked the staff to check it and fix it if possible while we are away at the beach. when we returned around 1 or 2 am to the room, it was even hotter than before. obviously, no one repaired it. the room was hot and damp like a sauna, sleeping outside would be more comfortable than inside that room. it didnt have any ventilation system. we asked them to change the room but they said that for that night there were no other rooms available other than a similar cave room which we did not want to sleep at. we agreed on upgrading us to a bungalow for another day.
now about a bungalow. it was cute and cozy, the ac worked properly, porch had a swing. overall we liked the design. on the other hand the electricity would go on and off randomly resulting in lights flashing which was annoying.
amenities are good, we swam in the pool although at times a little dirty. did not use spa or mud bath. park and restaurant/bar area is very nice. scenery is amazing especially on the sunset.
they also provide free breakfast which was mid (i like the pho tho), the choice of dishes for breakfast is quite interesting to say the least (pasta, burgers, etc). drinks were okay, nothing special but not bad either.
staff is generally friendly, the guy at the reception desk named Tee was helpful, and we also had fun chats with a boy with glasses working near the pool whose name i did not get. other people were always trying to help, although most of the time they looked confused. the general feeling i got from our one night stay is that the management system is not great, all processes that should not be hard always take more time and effort as they should. for example breakfast. at the restaurant i told them what we wanted for breakfast and they gave me a pager. some people would leave their pagers at the bar and the staff would bring food over, but since i came to the bar by myself and no one asked me where we are seated, the staff was trying to find our table to bring the food, i had to come over to them and tell them where we are. we still had couple of dishes left and i asked a girl at the bar if i should leave the pager and she seemed very confused. at first she told me that i can keep it, then she said to leave it. i dont remember if i ended up keeping it. anyways the food did not get lost but i got a feeling that among staff everyone just doesn’t know what everyone else is responsible for, simple things turn into a little quest. i would not say that it was very bothering, slightly annoying is a more appropriate phrase.
a lot of parts of the territory are still being built, a lot of dug up dirt and debris in certain places.
during the night we got woken up twice by stray dogs fighting with each other right by our bungalow (it was located near one of the empty W.I.P. spots)
if the rooms were being sold with big discounts, it would be fine. but they are charging full prices for a hotel that is still being built. scenery is really beautiful tho.

EErickTo summarize ”Chez Carole” failed to impress me. I stayed 6 days early November.
As mentioned by other reviewers there is a lot of potential but...
The beach and the tranquility are definitely a plus. The beach is nothing extraordinary but it is ideal if you just want to relax and enjoy ”farniente”. However there long chairs are far from comfortable. Plain hard and heavy wood (or good imitation) with nothing on top to soften the contact ;-)
There are a couple of ”kayaks” and 2 ”surf” boards to use for free.
What I missed most in the hotel was facing caring and welcoming employees. There was no hello, no good morning (except at the restaurant for breakfast and even there not always) or good day. Mostly no eye contact. With very very few exceptions the staff was distant, not welcoming and, well, not helping really. John the manager does his job professionally but I missed a deeper contact. Chinh in charge of the egg station (very good omelets) and pho was great and fun and helpful. So was Thienh (?) in the kitchen cooking wonderful plates with fish for me every night. A bright smile. A desire to please guests. Genuinely. I loved that ... and of course the food he prepared. Tâm in the restaurant was also very professional and helpful. These guys helped me feel better at the resort. Hospitality throughout Vietnam is absolutely great so my experience ”chez Carole” surprised me quite a bit. Overall the resort feels old and just maintained to survive. Dull in my opinion but, agreed, this is very personal. Also it is obviously in a remote place. It is some 2 or 3 Km walk/drive to the closest village therefore renting a motorbike or using Grab (or just asking the hotel for taxi) can be something to consider. Btw the closest Vinbus (free electric buses throughout the island, running every 15 minutes or so) stop is roughly 4 Km from the resort.
I booked one of the cheapest rooms. Spacious with a desk, a good sized fridge, a locker and an efficient air conditioning system. Weird enough the fridge would only work with the key in the key holder. So taking the key with you would shut down power (electricity) for all devices, including the fridge. Not ideal to keep anything cool in the fridge when leaving for the day...
The breakfast was nothing exceptional I found, especially for guests suffering from food ”incompatibilities” (in my case ”sugary” items because of diabetes due to surgery). For ”normal” people the spread was quite good with a large sweet section (breads, cakes, fruits).
Unless you really want it quiet, secluded, next to a beach and with an affinity for more ”traditional” housing architecture resp. feeling with an interesting pricing, you may want to also consider other options.
