Hotels with Breakfast in City of Wolverhampton District

We stayed here last night and I wasn’t impressed at all . Firstly we had phoned up to ask for a room with a bath , as I have fibromyalgia and we never stay anywhere without a bath as it helps me go to sleep easier . We was promised our room had one . When we arrived we realised our room had no bath . Asking to be swapped to a room that had one at reception, we was told the hotel was completely full , they had no staff to change the room and so we had to stay in the room we had been given . Down stairs in the reception area and bar is quite modern and nice . Our bedroom was we equipped with a fridge , kettle and iron board , but the decor was very dated … a room that looked to have been attempted to have been modernised on a low budget . Wood chip type walls were still a feature and the toilet , which was a separate room , was grubby and looked unclean . The room also smelt of cat wee , I have no idea why , but it did . The bar was extremely short staffed and we felt very sorry for the one bar staff that was rushed off his feet . We couldn’t even have a coffee before we’d went to our room , totally understandable from the bar staffs point as he was so busy he’d turned the machine off , but from a hotels point if view it was poor … you desperately need more staff to accommodate the large hotel you have . Not having a bath left me with a restless night , with little sleep . The breakfast was good though , definitely a plus point . I didn’t like that there was signs asking if you’d paid your parking as hotel staff wouldn’t inform you of the charges what happens to those who can’t read ? A nice £100 fine is what they’ll probably get … come on novoetel , you need to tell and warn your guests , you have that responsibility to look after them . This hotel is not very friendly for people with conditions , All in all I don’t think we’ll be staying in a novoetel anytime soon , it wasn’t the best .

Paid for a king superior room that transpired to be smaller than a Premier inn room. It was room 111 with 2 of the 3 sealed double glazed blown with internal condensation . There was just enough room to walk around the bed,. If you want to watch TV then you’ll be watching it from your bed either sat on the end or sat up on it. There’s a fixed desk with 1 chair pushed under it as directly below the TV. Reception said it was correct .I got conned the photos advertising this property and won’t be returning here again

Very clean relatively newly renovated rooms. The hotel is in a quiet green area which conveniently close to the city centre. The breakfast was very pleasent and good value. The staff are friendly and the room was very clean. Overall this was an excellent hotel.

The hotel staff were amazing, staff so accommodating, and considering it was Christmas their vibe and warmth was felt like. The location was to perfection, with perfect views of the the trees, the train station, the old tunnels. Simply beautiful, brought me right back home as Im from Wolverhampton. . The beds in the room were so comfortable, the option of aircon or heating was great. The pillows, the beds, were amazing, we sunk into sleep. Room maintenance was on point, facilities available and we were just left to enjoy our stay. I felt so secure which is important. Only little thing would be for the rooms to allow the windows to open a little for fresh air. But bar that, it was an amazing stay. I'll be back in my next family visit x Thank you. Amazing Christmas stay!

Decent hotel still in the middle of refurbishment although refurbished rooms have some marks on the wall

Cannot praise this hotel and staff enough. All of the staff during our stay were exceptional in their customer approach, friendly and helpful throughout. We (four adults) stayed in the Molinoux Suite, which was perfect for our stay with a nice ”small lounge” area where we could sit and socialise. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had lunchtime drinks and a meal in Hamiltons, which was delicious and very reasanable. The cocktails were very good. The location is perfect for town and a £5 taxi journey to either the station or to the horse racetrack.

We had to wait well over an hour for food in the restaurant however Yvonne was amazing. She kept us up to date with the problems. She was so friendly and helpful always smiling. So cheery again at breakfast and she knew we had a 5 hour journey home and gave us a bag to take some pastries with us. We stay in lots of premier inns on our travels and Yvonne is definitely the loveliest lady we've met. Thank you Yvonne xx

The staff was really kind. There´s breakfast available in the hotel but due to my timeschedule I couldn´t be there. I liked the ”medieval interior” in the hall. The Wi-Fi in the room was great and the room was comfortable. Everything that I liked to visit was in reach.
