Hotels near Mŕtve rameno Dunaja - Šúgov, Bratislava

I couldn't fault the staff and ease of check in/out. All very pleasant saying hello or goodbye every time we passed. I loved the location as it was less than 10 minutes walk to the old town. A minute walk to Blue Church and very close to some good restaurants and the Nivy bus station, a 15 minute walk. It's about half an hour walk from the train station. ( Bus 61 from airport to train station €1.20 each for a 30 minute ticket. Journey takes approx 20 minutes. Buy tickets from yellow ticket machine at bus stop and validate the ticket when you get on the bus) We had some great daytrips on Flixbus to Vienna and Brno. So very conveniently located It was also good value for money. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but you could pay around €11.60 each They did have a fridge near reception with drinks and snacks. I was happy with the location of the room as it is described as an internal room. It was relativity quiet. No street noise. Maybe the odd noisy resident but they are on holiday. Not a problem at all. It does look like the hotel owners are slowly trying to modernise the place as the private bathroom / toilet was clean and the shower was adequate with plenty of hot water and modern flooring there was a hairdryer, soap and towels. ROOM 101 The room had a TV with local tv channels. There was an option for Netflix which we came across by accident so if you have an account you might be able to watch Netflix. We didn't bother. There was a kettle with cups, glasses and a couple of sachets of coffee./ green tea. A unit with hangers (not really a wardrobe) but it was OK and a chest of drawers in the hallway against a locked door. I do like a fridge which was clean and a bonus as I wasn't expecting the room to have a fridge. The main bedroom itself seemed large enough until you tried to get into the double bed ( two singles pushed together) Old tired divans. This room might be better as a twin room with two single beds against the wall, left side /radiator, the other, with one bedside cabinet in the middle of the two beds with one lamp. This would give enough room to get in and out of each bed more comfortably. The absolute worst thing was the carpet! It is old and filthy with threads exposed. It needs ripping up and nice flooring laid, similar to that in the bathroom would be lovely. It was filthy behind the fridge, the edges under the radiator and worst of all was under the bed! I've never seen so much dust/ filth in a hotel room before. Maybe because there just isn't enough room down the right hand side of the bed to clean properly! It's inaccessible! The pillows and quilts were also stained but I only saw this when I took the covers off just to help the cleaners before we checked out. I know they say you get what you pay for but I've slept in cleaner youth hostels I have still given it 4 stars because of all the other good points. Staff /location. The hotel is centrally located near the door of San Michele and you can walk from the centre. The apartment is very well furnished, there is the kitchen with everything, washing machine, boiler, axle and steam, bathroom with hairdryer and dispenser with soap and bathroom. The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help you for any needs. We enjoyed upgrade when booking with Expedia, so we had a larger room and they greeted us with a bottle of spumant. They change the tie after 2 nights. Advised!

I stayed two nights in February, the hostel was clean, spacious, light and quite cozy. The hostel feels little bit like a huge flat with many rooms, it has nice and calm/chill atmosphere, I felt there like at home, which I really appreciated. In the big ”living room” there two big tables with chairs (perfect for playing board games), sofa with armchairs and bookshelf with armchair in the corner. In the living room there is always tea/coffee to make, that's very pleasant. There is also a small kitchen, suitable for cooking. Toilets and bathroom were clean and ok. I liked the bed, it was comfortable and didn't make any noise when moving. Rooms are very very spacious. I would like to thank once again to the host, Rado, who was so kind and sent me by a post (for free!) things I forgot in the hostel:)) Next time in Bratislava I'm definitely choosing this hostel again.

The location of the hotel is ideal for tourists, close to the castle and the old town. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at check-in. The line of guests was very long and it took forever. However, I don't want to blame the staff for this, there were just too few of them, the planning seems to be bad.The rooms are good, not completely without flaws, but okay. On a positive note, there is a well stocked minibar, which doesn't happen very often anymore. The cleaning staff also does a really good job! The service in the bar is ok, but the cocktails are ridiculously small. A small but well-equipped wellness area adds to the comfort. In short, I think the hotel offers good value for money and I would book it again.

Ficamos hospedados no quarto 606 de 27 a 28/11. O quarto é excelente mas ficamos surpresos com o péssimo atendimento da ”recepcionista” que nos atendeu por volta das 07:30 da manhã. Extremamente arrogante e debochada. Nos sentimos indesejáveis no ambiente. Sempre vamos a Europa e foi a primeira vez, em todas as cidades e países que já tivemos, que fomos mal atendidos dessa forma. Acho importante averiguar se isso acontece com outros hóspedes pois os apartamentos são excelentes, mas se precisasse voltar, não voltaria pra esse hotel e não indicarei para amigos que ainda isso a Bratislava. Ninguém merece esse tipo de tratamento.

The new and modern hotel with very warm rooms (you will appreciate in the colder days) in walking distance from national bank and 20 min walk from main train station.hotel offers parking for good price (during weekend there is a option to park on the street for free) and breakfast for 10-15 Eur. The staff is also very friendly.

The hotel is very new, the hygiene and service are in place, and the breakfast is also rich. It is in the city center and is worth recommending. .................

My boyfriend & I stayed here for 2 nights during our inter-railing trip. Upon arrival we were given 2 drink vouchers to enjoy at the bar which was very generous. Furthermore, the staff at reception went above and beyond for us. When we got to the next city as part of our trip I realised I had left something in the hotel which was of sentimental value to me. I emailed the hotel & Maros replied within 24 hours to let me know that they could post my item home that I had left behind. The kindness & willingness of the staff to provide this level of customer service was something I was very grateful for & something that has been somewhat lost to an extent in this modern age. Not only this, the hotel itself is lovely & the rooms are extremely spacious which suited us as we had a lot of luggage. Would definitely recommend a stay here whilst in Bratislava!

All was great!! The beds were comfy, everything very clean, well equipped, the staff was mega friendly, the room big enough! The best breakfast ever until now in Austria!!! The coffee was finally what it should have been! We were extremely impressed of the services/money spent. Parking available,free of charge, 25 km away from Bratislava ( extra :) ) , shopping available 3 Min away by car. We will definitely come again!
