"Good location,excellent customer service. The room is big with modern design, complete with electric kettle(with the usual coffee,tea & sugar) & small fridge. Good selection in the breakfast buffet. It’s a nice touch that they put the guest’s name in the room’s t.v & a small card from the housekeeping staff. I was happy with the cleanliness, until I saw a stain in the duvet/comforter (which looks like an old blood). I only saw it on the morning of check-out when the duvet cover accidentally opened when i was tidying-up the bed. I mentioned it to the reception staff & she said she will feedback to the housekeeping."

"Feeling disappointed when stepped into the room 510. The room is super hot due to sunset direction and no ventilation was switched on. Despite requested the windows to be opened there was still a double concealed window, air or wind cannot entered. I didn't understand the trainee staff at the reception was doing. She knew nothing and not helpful until a senior staff came and we suggested her for a fan and changed room. Room was changed to 421 which has the ventilation. Thanks for their helpfulness to resolve it. But I won't visit it again due to their culture sustainability and green which has totally destroyed our mood for holidays. I took the picture of the building. That was the fifth floor which covered the double panels and no wind at all even the windows are opened."

"Overrated old style hotel, cheap & greedy management style. No coffee nor espresso machine in the room, spa access charged 32€ etc … Restaurant menu @ Michelin prices but no food appealing there. I left the table without ordering as it was so mediocre. Noisy housekeeping who came into my room at 7 AM, no excuse received though. It’s more of a 4 star hotel by international standards. I bet you can get better value for money with a Airbnb on the waterfront."

"The best part of this hostel is the location. It’s ideal to move around either on foot or by public transportation. There are enough shower/toilet rooms not to wait in line. Not every single bed is applied with a socket. Check in is at 3pm which I find is a bit too late. Amazing cat comes over from time to time and is quite playful. Everything you can think of can be bought at the reception via card only."

"You will Not have Any Privacy as you stay!! Terrible management First of all room is very dirty and stinky, maintenance was very poorly done. Not sure if Heater was on all day room was boiling hot I tried to turn on air conditioner it didn't work when complain forwarded to front desk answer was 'have balcony door open and can't have air conditioner on cause it's 15 degrees outside by regulations' I am not from here so I don't know what regulations it means and there was no explanation. However having my balcony door open as I sleep is so not secure and I wonder where my privacy is. I will tell everyone I know never make trip down to this place"

"WOW- I was completely amazed by how clean, modern, confy, and convenient the hostel was. The beds all came with a separate locker section (operated by card key) and multiple shelves, and my compartment was able to close off using pull-down curtains. One of the things that stood out about this stay was the check-in and out processes, as they were fully automated and did not require staff intervention. I was able to swiftly do them. The staff were also very kind, and there seemed to always be somebody at the front desk, as there was a member at the front desk even at 5AM. One thing which might be improved are the bathrooms, since the floor is almost constantly wet from the shower section on the further end side of the room. Overall, I am very satisfied by the stay and if I were to visit Bratislava again, I would like to book here."

Rooms could do with decorating but that is just an observation not a criticism. 2 minutes from Old town and from the main bus station. Short walk along the promenade to the large shopping mall.
