Little Robin Gate

David and peanut were the perfect hosts from start to finish. We arrived for a short break, a belated honeymoon and were greeted by both of them at the door. Shown to our room which was spotless. A lovely touch from David were the rose petals on the bed upon our arrival. The decor was modern with plenty of storage space. TV was better than the usual hotel ones. There was an amazon stick so we could access less mundane channels. The room was the spa room with a separate toilet and separate bathroom. An added bonus was the jacuzzi, that was so relaxing, along with a decent sized shower. Toiletries were also supplied. Would recommend to everyone to stay with David and Peanut. We will definitely return. Thank you both, best wishes Maxine and Doug

The staff here are friendly and nothing seems an effort for them, as they make you feel welcome throughout your stay. I was down in Bournemouth for a conference and had the Bon Jovi room. The room is clean, warm, with a good quality carpet and bedding to match. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. I shall be back soon, and hopefully ”Livin' on a Prayer” if I bag the Gregg Wallace room next time.
Laguna Hotel

I have been to the two Britannia Hotels in Bournemouth and I thought I would try the Laguna as another independent hotel. It is pretty clean and adequate although somewhat dated. But if a lot was spent then it would cease to be a budget hotel. Fellow at reception lent me his IPhone charger and lead. In the evenings there was a singer both evenings and several were dancing. Bar was open until about 10 pm. That was good compared with the Britannia hotels!
Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth

Just returned from a lovely four night stay at the Hampton Inn after normally staying at the Hilton next door. Have to say the rooms here were much nicer, more comfortable with better air conditioning. All of the staff gave a really genuine warm welcome without the attitude that sadly Hilton Bournemouth had given us in the past. The real surprise was the breakfast in the morning, plentiful and catered for everyone’s tastes, waffles, omelettes, piping hot buffet breakfasts, lovely continental options, fresh fruit, cereals and gluten free options. Thank you for a great stay, can’t wait to return!

I've just come back from my sixth stay at this fantastic hotel. I can't speak more highly of it, which is why I always go back there. The staff are all amazing, always friendly, helpful & welcoming. From the reception team , the breakfast team and the team in the 1812 Bar, everyone does a great job. The new restaurant Oishii , which is part of the 1812 bar serves amazing food, I can't speak more highly of the team there, their service was incredible. The hotel is situated a short walk from the beach, the pier, the Oceanarium & the town, it's in a great location. There is also a car park which is also a bonus, though I think spaces are limited if the hotel is full. The rooms are very comfortable & well decorated. I love Bournemouth, which is why I go there every year, for me the Royal Exeter is the best place to stay, this year unfortunately, the weather wasn't as good as previous years. I've already booked for next year, I'm looking forward to going back. Once again, thank you to everyone at The Royal Exeter Hotel, you all do an amazing job.
Piccadilly Hotel

Anybody looking through TripAdvisor, would be hard pushed to find a reasonably priced hotel in Bournemouth that didn't have some terrible reviews. We needed 2 hotel rooms for 1 night only, and it was a late decision to stay over rather than drive home. I chose The Piccadilly based on reviews on a hotel booking site, which were much better than those on here. Check in was easy, and handled by a pleasant young lady The rooms were clean and airy, as was the bathroom, linens were clean, and there were plenty of clean towels for the 2 of us. Whilst we didn't eat or drink at the hotel, it looked clean and tidy around the reception area. This is not the most modern of hotels, and it is not the Ritz, but neither are the prices. I would not hesitate to stay there again. My only gripe, and it's not specific to this hotel, is having to pay for parking.
