Hilton Boston Back Bay

Modern room, very clean, comfortable lobby and seating area for waiting after check-out, lemonade available on the first floor, and a central location in Boston. I booked a room without breakfast. I really liked your hotel.

The gym facilities are good. Other areas need renovation. The location is excellent. The room rate isn't low, which might be due to the overall experience.

This Hilton is absolutely terrible! I booked a non-refundable high-floor Charles River view room three weeks in advance. When we checked in at 9 PM, they gave me a room on the 6th floor facing a wall without any explanation. When we dragged our luggage to the front desk, they told me that for bookings made through third-party platforms, they don't guarantee room types! They also couldn't guarantee that they could switch us to the room type we booked the next day! On top of that, all the front desk staff were African American and acted very cold and indifferent! We had no choice but to unhappily stay in that room for the first night. We contacted Ctrip, and their customer service was very understanding of our situation and actively coordinated. They eventually secured our original room type for the next three days, and Ctrip covered the cost of the first night! So, everyone, please, DO NOT book this hotel in Boston! It is absolutely, unequivocally awful!

The room was spacious and the location was good, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, after checking in, I found a half-eaten tub of ice cream left by the previous guest in the fridge 🤢. I called the front desk, but no one came for a long time. Eventually, the housekeeping supervisor arrived, but she didn't even know how to open the fridge 😂 😂. I had to show her how. Seems like she's a bit out of touch with the basics.
