Rosa Boutique Hotel - Bordeaux Centre - Gare Saint Jean

Close to train station and very convinient to anywhere at Bordeaux. Staff are helpful, he help me to carry luggage to 3rd floor (hotel without lift). FOC 2 bottle water daily. Hotel don't have aircond but with fan and air cooler. Overall is a convenient hotel for traveller but not for luxurious. Next to hotel is restaurant and 2 famous local food (Canelé). La Toque Cuivrée & Canelés Baillardran, I'll prefer La Toque Cuivrée.

Good location but sadly tram lines in front are closed meaning bus and then tram needed to get to airport But I liked this place a lot and would return Lots of restaurants nearby and train station opposite- but no noise.. buses were easy once you get the system Main good thing was the reception staff… they couldn’t have been more helpful When I rang before arriving they were lovely and throughout the stay they were fab Location staff and price weee great value !

A perfect hotel for our purposes: We arrived by air, and there is bus and tram transportation to the tram station, which is right across from the hotel. During the day the entry is mainly a bar, but it was no trouble for us English-speakers to check in. Rooms are upstairs, which was not a problem for us but might be for the mobility-challenged or those with heavy luggage. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room rate. We overlooked it the first day, so be certain to ask at check-in where it is served. Our major objective in choosing Rosa was a safe, modest place to sleep and a convenient jumping-off place for tours of Bordeaux and its surrounds; in that respect, Rosa was perfect. It is not a luxury hotel, but we were not looking for a luxury hotel. Again, the tram/train station is literally across the street. We left by rental car, also located in the train station.

My room was a bit dirty (walls and side tables). My air conditioner did not work either. It was extremely noisy and not from the outside but other guests. I really wanted to love this place due to its convenience to the train station but it just didn’t do it for me.
