AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The staff are nice and location is good but…
Once pillow was stained with blood, another with black stains that look like a shoe print, the floor was absolutely disgusting, and the room was freezing! The receptionist was very nice and moved us to another room and got us an oil radiator, but the floor was equally disgusting and freezing. It was -2°C outside, the air condition was set up for 24°C but cold air was coming out instead. I tried to shut it off but guests have no control over it whatsoever. The room next to ours had the same problem because they had an oil radiator as well. We could hear every noise from outside, the windows are not sound proofed at all. You will need 4 different codes, 2 for the car gate and 2 for the other gate. The receptionist said I would get a full refund, the app costumer service kept trying to contact them about it and they wouldn’t reply, when they did, they said they never agreed to a full refund, they agreed to 50%. The rooms are old, with broken stuff. The breakfast is nice. The only reason we stayed here is because the STAYCITY aparthotel was fully booked, they are modern, clean and you can access everything with just a card.

The hotel is located, 25 min on foot from the strict city center ( around 4-5 tram stations).
Could have been a bit cleaner.

The hotel requires several passcode to enter various gates, and they change the passcodes on different days. It is quite inconvenient for customers to bring along the passcode sheet and see which gate requires which passcode on which day. And the attendants did not clean our room as requested.

Nice and clean room but WiFi in bedroom is really bad and dogs bark throughout the night (guess that depends if you’re unlucky with guests/their dog).

Great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood of Bordeaux. Close to the centre and train station. Would recommend

The location of Victoria Garden Bordeaux Centre is very convenient, close to the centre and easy to reach. However, our experience was mixed. The first room we were given was in the older building – it felt very dated, and the air conditioning did not work. We also had a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and it would be helpful if the hotel could provide some solution for this.
After requesting a room change, we were first told the hotel was full, but once I mentioned my asthma, another room suddenly became available. Service overall was fine, though this situation was a bit frustrating.
The system of entry codes for the buildings is quite complicated, especially for those arriving by car. Parking costs €15 per night, and bringing a pet was charged at €12, even though the booking policy on Trip.com stated €6.
Overall, the location is a plus, but the facilities and communication could be improved.

Lovely little room not too far away from the centre of all things happening in the centre.tranaport links are really good and the public transport system itself is so efficient.
The room has a small kitchen filled with essentials for cooking light meals - hob, microwave and kettle. Sink prepared with things to wash dishes too. Also delighted to find we had a drip stand coffee machine!
The room is compact but absolutely everything you need. There is a huge gate at the front of the property which means it's really safe. Neighbourhood was ok but would be walking quickly if I was on my own, however I didn't feel the need to get a taxi once.
Bathroom has a hairdryer!
Lovely graffiti artwork around the property as well.

You need a password code to enter the hotel for check-in. (Iron gate leading to the parking lot) There was no separate instructions. I had to get in with the help of someone else. There should have been an email informing me about this in advance. The desk staff is not very friendly.

The room looks old. The kitchen in the room smells a bit bad. Breakfast is simple. The room soundproofing is not good.

The hotel is very dated with old furniture nearly falling apart. However the room is big, the bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful. The location is really good within walking distance to the center. Most important for us to book this hotel is its gated secured car park.

I arrived after 10pm so it took me a while to check in given that nobody mans the reception after hours. It was a good inexpensive experience overall but don't expect any frills.

The aparthotel is quite decent. It's partially renovated, although the floors are in dire need of replacement and the bathroom could be improved. Some appliances (like the microwave) stand out from the rest of the accommodation due to their age, though this doesn't prevent them from working properly.
In the room, the chest of drawers was unusable because it was completely broken and dislodged. And there was quite a bit of mold in the shower and sink in the bathroom. However, we did appreciate being able to see how much water we had used.
In short, minor details that could be improved.
The reception staff is excellent, speaking Spanish, English, and French.
Very good location, about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Safe and quiet area.
Parking is outdoors, but very inexpensive (€15 per night) and they allow you to leave your car until later than your check-out time.
