Hotels near Diniwid Beach, Boracay Island

We stayed here with my family and my brother's family from March 29, 2003 to April 2, 2003. To tell you quite frankly - as the tile of this review goes - our stay was really a pleasant surprise as after booking, I read up on reviews which were really not that good which made me think if we had made the right decision in booking accommodations from this hotel. Our experience was quite the opposite: the road to the hotel from the jetty port (which according to a review I read was muddy) but no longer was when we went there. The hotel itself, when we arrived, as far as I am concerned looked great and was well maintained. The front desk staff were quite accommodating and cheerful and ably assisted us in our checking in to our rooms. We booked 3 rooms and checking in was a breeze. The hotel staff service was excellent. The rooms that we checked in to were great but it would have been better if it had a view but this is just my preference and does not in any way diminish our experience. The restaurant in the hotel was oftentimes good but can leave you wanting for more. This is a beach front hotel but there was a only a short stretch of sand when we stayed there. We were a bit let down I suppose but this was cleared when one of the locals clarified that it was high tide season during this time was being washed away to sea. To see a wide stretch of sand, the best time to here would be around September, but if the lack of a decent beachfront is no issue to you then anytime except the rainy season would be a good time to visit and you can easily reach Station 1 via a 5-10 minute walk. Since this hotel is on the western side of of the island, I can guarantee that you would experience sunsets like no other. If you prefer the peace and quiet of a homey ambience, nestled in a small nook at the far end of the western side of the island, then this hotel is perfect for you - alone or with your family and friends.

How to say it: no hot water... no hot water bathing 🛁 This is the key point, how can there be no hot water ♨️ If the body can't stand it, there is a problem with the design of the CYTS: built in the mountains, the room is like a cave. The inside is the toilet and the shower. The wet environment is not easy to circulate and become dry. Every time I enter the room, there is a moldy smell. I stayed for two nights. The cotton sweaters are all musty, and the room is not good for health for a long time. There is a position that is not very good.

We really enjoyed our stay in Boracay Amor, the Honeymoon Suite has the best and the most astounding viewpoint in Boracay. Every time we wake up we are stunned and speechless. It’s very quite and a perfect place to get away from the stress. The Breakfast has a delish varieties, the staff are very friendly and approachable. We would always come back to this place.

I like to commend robert and alfred from breakfast dinning area they are proactive in helping customers. For improvement, I would like to call the attention of Ms Joan in dining area. The approach she had for me is very uncomfortable and intimidating, same with the night guard , but the rest of the stay was amazing!

Very nice hotel. Convenient and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great house keeping. The hotel offers huge amounts of swimming and its bar in the middle of the pool. It will have good opportunities to have a variety of drinks while swimming. However, I found some lack of providing amenities. I have booked a room for 3 people but there were not enough amenities. I have to ask every time to provide them. Found some ants in the bathroom. There is too much of a crowd while having breakfast. Not enough space for movement. In some cases, there is no hot water while getting in the shower. It's been fixed later. I found the iron board was not in workable condition and it was very hard to use it.

There are two types of hotels in the world: those with management and those without. Paradise Garden falls in the latter, I'm sorry to say. For example, it took the friendly front office staff over an hour to check me in and the breakfast buffet is so overcrowded that there were no seats once you get your plate. Also, the wifi extended to the door of my room only so that I had to move the dest to the door to use wifi. Inside the room there is no wifi at all. This 1970's looking bare bones hotel is in a good location at Boat Station 3, just a little too far south of the action, and has huge grounds with several swimming pools. But the entire place has an unkempt appearance and needs a management team to remodel it entirely. I was there for a week in February and the weather was perfect.In all I ended up using over US $ 100 of T-Mobile international roaming data charges because the room had no wifi.

My third time going to Boracay, my first time was in Fairways & Bluewater Resorts, however it was too far, 2nd time we stayed in Villa De Oro, and for my third time, we stayed here at La Carmela. Our stay here at La Carmela was a clutch decision but a truly memorable one. We celebrated New Year's Eve 2022 at La Carmela. We stayed there for 9 nights. But I must say, some employees are not that dedicated and passionate with what they do, except for the security personnel who were all very accommodating. I myself, I am a front office agent, I can't even feel the sincerity with the service they provide. I was actually expecting a lot from La Carmela since Mr. Boy Abunda has always been promoting this resort during all his shows, in addition to that, so many celebrities and even influencers have stayed in La Carmela and seemed to like their services. But, to my dismay, all my expectation weren't met, unfortunately. Food is average, our daily breakfast was always served ice cold, pool is massive and beautiful, location is priceless since it's near the beach and just near to everything else where. I just wished they can step up their services including personal services to their guests, most especially that there are already a lot of hotels booming as their competitors. I know La Carmela has been there for countless years already, so why not make their legacy a good one. Overall, our room was okay, we waited for so long for our MUR, plus the ac in my mother's room is not functioning well. Would love to consider this hotel once more as it is perfect for budget travelers like me. stayed for 9 nights with my partner, mother, and my sister, and we only paid PHP 25k for everything including their plated breakfast. Overall I had a good experience with the restaurant staff, the SPA and pool staff were very helpful but I had a very bad experience upon check out, that is why I can't put a better review. The staff lady at the reception took 30 minutes to give me my bill, she waited for the housekeeping to check my room and the house keeper came with a pillow case which had some stains on it, may be the mascara, asking me if I did a filipino tattoo, which I didn't, I said to her: anyway, what is the problem? You don't have a washing machine? She said” no,we don't?” I wonder how they wash the hotel clothes then?!? I was very annoyed about her questioning me again and again if I did a filipino tattoo, really insisting on that point, I was short of time to leave the hotel to take my flight back to Manila, so I didn't report the case, she gave me a bill with some drinks I didn't order, which i noticed few days later, I think they took this money for the laundry or buy a new pillow case, I am a frequent traveler and use to go to many hotels, I have never experienced that anywhere else in the whole world!

The whole experience was good. Greeted by Front Desk asking if for check in. With no other further engagement made upon our arrival, like how are you today? Since we are very tired 15hrs of transportation. I only remember she mentioned about cards if lost will charge us ph900. After we arrive at the room, we order in Room Service and the operator was not detailed with information. I still need to call again and ask for how many minutes our food will be delivered? She replied with 30min. But the food was delivered after 1 hour! F&B staff of Sapphire are pro active, approachable and always have a smile on their faces. HSKP staffs never miss to greet us with a positive attitude. Pool side Massage are the best. I had 4 days massage as I really enjoyed the good service. We stayed in Henann Crystal for a total of 5 nights and its really a perfect place to stay. And will surely comeback again. Near to D’Mall , other restaurants with beach view.
