Great place for business purpose or just pleasure. Very nice and humble staff. Overwhelming welcome and service throughout the stay. Amazing swimming pool, wellness, gym and bar area. Just a small thing there is room for improvement in the restaurant area with the Menu. Maybe there can be a better variety of food offered by them. All in all wonderful hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere. I loved it. I am very satisfied.

great cozy rooms, spotless clean, very nice and kind service. If you are travelling for work, the location is ideal for the World Conference Center.Otherwise, you have to take the bus for the historical city center which is 15-20min away. Breakfast was also quite nice with lots of different options. Comfy beds and pillows. high speed of Wi-Fi and free of charge. Free private parking. There are some things that need improvements in breakfast where due to crowd, the items were vanished and then partially replaced. In addition, the room amentities were also poor, there was only soap and body wash. No slippers, or other extras. I will definetely visit the hotel again.

This modern hotel backs on to Bonn main railway station, a few minutes walk from the tourist sites in the centre of town, and on the edge of a lovely historic residential district which includes the botanic gardens which are well worth visiting. There is a ”green” supermarket next door to the hotel, and a good bakery across the road. So an excellent location overall. Rooms are quite spacious, beds comfortable, large TV. No coffee making facilities. One gets a Bonn travel card for the duration of one's stay: which is a nice addition. The one significant downside is that one does hear quite a bit of noise from the trains and the station. More than in some other hotels we have stayed in that back on to railway stations. My partner slept well, I did not. Freight trains went past every 15 minutes or so throughout the night. Bizarrely, when I had asked on the first day about a possible room change to the road side of the building (10 euros more, to *business class”) I was told there were no trains at night! Would I stay again if visiting Bonn? Probably yes. I would try the rooms on the road side.

The rooms are too small and the facilities are outdated. It feels like a hotel 10 or 20 years ago that can't keep up with the times.

Exakt ein Jahr nach einem ”Mädels”-Wochenende mit meiner besten Freundin verbrachten wir diesmal mit unseren Männern vom 12.-14.05.2023 in den Superior-Rheinblick-Zimmern 304 und 306 eine schöne Zeit im stilvollen ”Maritim”-Königswinter mit dem spektakulären Blick auf den Rhein. Wir genossen alle unseren Aufenthalt mit aufrichtig freundlich zugewandten Mitarbeitern der meisten Bereiche sehr, haben allerdings ein paar Anmerkungen und Verbesserungsvorschlöge. Obwohl ich bereits bei der Buchung den unverbindlichen Wunsch”oberste Etage” angegeben hatte, sollten wir beim Einchecken Zimmer in der ersten Etage bekommen. Nach entsprechendem Hinweis erhielten wir problemlos o.g. Zimner mit o.g. Blick. Die Superior-Zimmer haben neben dem Rheinblick auch eine Nespresso-Maschine. Ich persönlich würde mir als reine Tee-Trinkerin ergänzend einen Wasserkocher und eine Auswahl an Tee wünschen. Erfahrungsgemäß hatte ich meinen Wasserkocher und Teebeutel mitgenommen. Im Bad unserer Freunde waren bei Ankunft unter dem Waschtisch unangenehm aussehende Flecken auf den Fliesen, die nach Hinweis umgehend entfernt wurden. Wir freuten uns, dass das Wetter mitspielte und wir beide als Arrangement gebuchten Abendessen auf der Rheinterasse im Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Leider hatte das Restaurant am 13.05.2023 nur wenige Reservierungen für den Abend, so dass uns ein 3-gängiges reines Spargel-Menü angeboten wurde, was für 2 von uns keine Option bot, da wir keinen Spargel essen. Zudem hatten wir uns alle auf das umfangreiche ”Maritim”-Abendbuffet gefreut und wären gerne zuvor informiert worden. Unser Vorschlag, den wir der überaus aufmerksamen und freundlichen AZUBI Larissa machten war, ein bis zwei weitere 3-Gang-Menüs anzubieten, damit jeder Gast unkompliziert zufrieden gestellt werden kann. Was uns ebenfalls betrübt hat und was wir im vergangenen Jahr besser erlebt haben, war der, bei einer überschaubaren Bar-Ausnutzung nicht wirklich interessierte und unprofessionelle Barkeeper. Ich hätte mir mehr Informationen zu dem mir unbekannten Gin gewünscht und bei meinem späteren Getränkewunsch Piňa Colada Vergin war sein Hinweis, dass er keine Sahne darin mag und ich statt dessen Batida de Coco darin nehmen sollte absolut unangebracht. Am 2. Abend suchten wir daher zum Abendausklang eine Lokalität in der Altstadt auf. Schade! Nichtsdestotrotz lieben wir das ”Maritim”-Klnigswinter und kommen sicher wieder!

Unfortunately, there is not the option to click ”good”. It wasn't very good, but it was good already. The location is excellent. With a car that is a little higher (mini-van) you should know, that parking is not possible in any deep garage nearby (entry only up to 180 cm height) - that had surprised us quite and dragging the ticket every morning, which went only with little money, was once again an adventure ... In particular, The hotel's reception is free of cash and could not help us. We had booked without breakfast, not least because already on the pictures of the ”breakfast room” looked uncomfortable. So much more happy I was when I just arrived that I still made coffee junkie (without additional cost) Coffee could be obtained. For environmental reasons, we found it good that no daily room cleaning takes place (we do not do at home even ...) - there were tickets for the roof top bar. It was a pity that we couldn't eat little there. There it was pleasant and beautiful. In general, those who feel it all as a lot of plastic have right. We also had our little dog - and it was a challenge (which we have overcome) to find a place for the dog box in the small room. Overall, the staff was always struggling and very friendly. You couldn't help in some challenges (e.g. parking). I would recommend the hotel for passengers without car!

We had to check in very late (about 02:30), but that was not a problem at all. The service was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a room for 3 people over Booking.com that was unfortunately no longer available on site. We were fully unproblematic and without additional costs ”distributed” to two Comfort double rooms and received another drink from the house bar for free as an excuse. The rooms themselves are very well equipped and comfortable. The included breakfast was the “hammer” and very rich and varied. Of us absolutely recommended. A parking house is right next to and has not cost us anything.

Hotel is located in a quiet forest area, a 20 minute busride to the city center. Busstop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, runs every 30 minutes even on weekends. We travelled with a group of 8 people and had different rooms, amongst them junior suites, single rooms and standard rooms. The suites were well equipped, with large bathroom and 'salon'. One suite however did not have a TV in the bedroom only the salon, the other suite did have 2 TV's. Single rooms were attic rooms, quite small, dark and not very attractive. Pillows were plenty and thick, mattress however to hard for my liking. Although the hotel tablet mentioned all rooms were equipped with a (free of service) coffee and tea bar, only the suites had one as told by the receptionist. False advertising and the solution offered by reception was to ask for hot water from the hotel bar, which by the way was not open the entire weekend. Closed on Friday evening and reserved for a private party on Saturday. Unacceptable; all paying hotel guests should have access to the displayed facilities. The Basilico hotel restaurant is another one for the books. Terrible service, had to wait about an hour to get our meal with only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Price/quality the worst I've seen in a long time. Most of us left the table hungry, but no surprise when there's only 3 baby potatoes on your plate, cut in half to make your plate look full ... On the upside, breakfast buffet was quite nice. Good variety of meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurt, lachs, meatballs, eggs, etc. Previously they had a hot station where eggs were made 'à la minute', but probably cancelled now because of covid. Bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and shower in one. Only had 1 large towel and smelled horrible, but housekeeping in the hallway solved this very quickly and extremely friendly. Incomprehensible that none of the 5 rooms we've stayed in had hot water in the shower/bath, it was lukewarm at best whether morning or evening. Don't count on the WIFI either, very unreliable. Overall, I've stayed in hotels of the Dorint chain before with less stars but far better service, better rooms and most of all, better food price/qualitywise.

An attractive new building, constructed to Motel One high standards and thus well furnished, clean, and very well sound-proofed. However, quite a few problems: stuffy, cramped rooms with the building's air-conditioning system broken (the front desk was unable to resolve this); windows that hardly open; very poor value cold breakfast; oddly, decaff coffee was only offered on the last day; staff completely overwhelmed at weekend breakfast; and an unexpected entry of a cleaner at 8.30 one morning. In the unlikely event that I stayed here again, I would breakfast cheaper and much better at one of the independent cafes that occupy the frontage of the building.
