"Premier inn, Bolton stadium, Horwich - Perfect! Staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and airy (the windows open!), temperature controlled to a minimum 19 degrees. Premier plus rooms have a mini fridge. I highly recommend the cooked breakfast, it’s hot and fresh and you won’t need lunch - the poached eggs are the best! The harvester next door serves great food whether dining in or using their takeaway service. Middlebrook shopping centre is across the road offering lots of alternative eating options. Bolton football stadium is next door - convenient for match days. Horwich parkway rail station is a 5 mins walk with a great service for Blackpool or Manchester."

"Older type hotel, and furnishings which I didn't mind, it was comfy and cozy and our room had nice views, the breakfast was excellent- worth paying extra for, so many choices, the staff were lovely and accommodating. We used the pool/steam room but sadly it was being closed down the end of that day- needs lots of work on it, shame they aren't refurbishing the pool/spa. Overall would definitely stay here again"

"This hotel was even better than I expected. It's a Grade 2 listed building which is beautifully, and tastefully, decorated. Breakfast is only served at weekends but it was delicious and cheap. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever and the shower was so powerful that my husband told me it would 'sandblast my body' so not to turn it on full. A wonderful hotel with great staff that I would recommend to anyone. "
