5/5Perfect
I read a lot about this hotel, both good and bad. There were many doubts, but nevertheless curiosity overcame and we booked 2 nights there. The first impression of the hotel was immediately positive. Polite staff, beautiful territory, neat comfortable rooms (separate houses with a separate entrance). Silence! Coziness and comfort. In general, extended the same day for one more night.
We didn't have a safe or fridge in our room, but that didn't bother us. We calmly left our things on the open terrace and closed valuables in a suitcase.
Breakfast at the hotel from 7 to 10 buffet. I liked everything about breakfast! There is something for every taste lover.
I was surprised that when the hotel was fully loaded, the pool always had a lot of free sunbeds and towels.
The hotel itself is divided into 2 parts. Each has its own pool and it turned out to be very convenient. At the hotel, we freely took a bike and rode sharks, chocolate hills, and watched tarsiers along the way. The location of the hotel allows you to go around everything in one or 2 days! To sharks 30 minutes on a bike, to hills 40-50 minutes. This is at a speed of 40 km per hour. There were just three of us on the bike, so they didn’t drive much)
We ate all the time at the hotel. The menu is designed for vegetarians and Europeans and Asians. Unless he found sushi. I ordered meat, it seemed overcooked, but the taste and color, as they say. The sea food there is delicious, but the fish steak seemed a bit dry. Carbonara pasta is excellent, C-grade cocktails, they are painfully diluted. But I can say this in almost all the Philippines. And in Elnido and Cebu and Bohol. This restaurant is popular, even groups sail there by boat, so it’s better to choose the time either before the group or after, who will have to wait a long time for the order, as it was once with us))
In general, for 2 - 3 days, that’s it, then you want to go to the sea, but it’s far from there. People don't swim in the river.
From tips:
1) You need to go to Sharks in the morning. We went there at 7 am, without breakfast. We returned at 9 and had breakfast discussing our impressions. The ticket was taken on the spot 1500 pesos per person. Expensive but trust me it's worth it. It is better to take coral slippers with you, because you will have to walk over stones to get to the boat. Someone swam in fins, they can be rented on the spot. Be sure to have something to shoot in the water. I shot on my phone in a waterproof case. It turned out cool! Ask for a vest in size, it will just be more comfortable to swim. We didn’t take T-shirts and other souvenirs with sharks, but we didn’t see any more of them, so take them there. Personal items can be taken with you in a waterproof backpack. But the boats are very small, reminiscent of a large kayak, there is very little space there. We left our backpack in the place where we were instructed.
2) when traveling to the chocolate hills, plan to visit the zip line by bike. It's really cool. We went cycling and surfing. All together cost 1000 pesos per person. The guide showed us the way from the site where we took the transfer to the hills, they leave the bikes there and either on foot or by transfer go to the hills. Take a shuttle for the hills. 100 pesos per person. One return ticket. For the same ticket you get a free umbrella from the sun. And it bakes very well there))
The room has Wi-Fi. Worked without interruption.
Transfer to Panglao was taken at the hotel. It cost 1200 pesos.
