Hotel Egina Bogota

This hotel is of the PEOR, is located in one of the best areas of the city of Bogota, but I felt in a hotel in the center of Bogota, there is no cellularity there is not enough staff to provide services, One of the buttons has been working for more than 24 hours, the receptionist does not know customer service, the pessimism breakfast, have an old man attending all tables and almost no hears and the most absurd is that we ask you to prepare some eggs and the The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. In addition to this, they borrow the hotel for some events on the sixth floor that began on Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. where they play, they shouted with trompets and pits, today is Sunday and we have been holding this noise for three days We have complained on several occasions and no one does anything at all the receptionist who is the only one at the moment in the hotel. I SHOOT GOING TO RESIDENCE IN THIS HOTEL IS TERRIBLEEEE¡¡¡ PDTA: The only person who provided us a good service and you see that he has experience in service to the client was Sandra the reception person who was on Friday 12 at the morning.
Hotel Estelar la Fontana

I checked in at 7pm on a business trip and there were no rooms. This is a complete absurd. After making a scene they finally decided to “find” a room. My colleague waited over an hour for his room. In the next evening there were buckets everywhere in the lobby area due to water leaks. The breakfast buffet was garbage - no better than a Hampton Inn. The minibar was empty and the standard room was really basic. On top of that - I’ve ordered a waffle and two bottles of water the evening I arrived and it took 90 minutes to arrive. I expected a lot more from a 5 star hotel. I’m always in Bogota on business trips and will NEVER be back to this hotel. On a positive side, the building is absolutely beautiful.
Cora 127 Plenitud

We stayed one night in Bogota on our way back to Germany via Cancun. After visiting the Northen Bogota district of Usaquen recently we wanted a hotel in this same area as it is safe and many restaurants and shopping malls are either walkable or a short taxi ride away. The room was more like a suite, with a small kichen (incl. all cutlery and plates, pans etc.). Also a living roo. and separate bedroom. Bathroom also large, with large walk in shower. Room was very clean and tidy but looked a little dated. Staff very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!
Estelar Apartamentos Bogota - la Fontana
4.3/543 Reviews
These are apartments at the same complex as Hotel Estelar La Fontana and has a very good infrastructure, by the Unicentro mall and few restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant and gym. There are also some comercial offices on the same building (ground floor). It’s fenced, so it’s safe to walk downstairs and it’s pet friendly - they keep all the people who have dogs on the same building, separated from other rooms without dogs, which is good for people who don’t have dogs. The apartment itself is ok, but the decoration a bit old.
Hotel Morrison 114
4.4/567 Reviews
I have been coming to the Morrison for many years, and always enjoyed staying there where the service was always warm and friendly and the hotel is conveniently located in Bogotá. At this time, we had a couple of issues that unfortunately are very different from the standard of service that we always received at this hotel. First, when checking in, they said that the room we reserved was not available, so they were putting us in a smaller (and cheaper) room. When we asked about any difference on the rate, they said that unfortunately they were not allowed to offer a discount but they would try to offer us “a courtesy” from the hotel (which never happened) as a way to compensate for the inconvenience. The following morning, the hotel presented a technical problem, and the rooms run out of the water service. I communicated the front desk and they offered me to take a shower in another room (where supposedly there was water service); I accepted the suggestion but also run out of water when trying to take a shower in the other room. I spoke to the manager, (that I learned recently assumed this position) and she only said that they were working to solve the problem, without giving any prevision about when the problem would be solved, or offered any alternative or help. I understand that this kind of situation might happen, but her response to this situation was really disappointing, seeming that the problem was customer´s business. At the end of the day, and after expressing my frustration with the way they handled the situation, they moved us to another Morrison hotel in Bogotá, located in a really noisy and unsafe neighborhood. We did not even received an apology from the manager. It was evident to us that the change in the management brought a big impact on the level of service of this hotel. Not coming back again.
