Durak Hotel

A magnificent complex of adjacent buildings. The reception staff was very friendly! They helped me carry my luggage up to a floor without an elevator, provided a kettle upon request, and left my luggage. Everything was done professionally and efficiently. St. Peter's Castle (ticket 1200 lira), the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the World (the gigantic Mausoleum at Halicarnassus), the Roman amphitheater, the embankment with yacht masts, and a small motorboat are all within walking distance. It's a clean, cozy town with good transportation infrastructure. The town (the old bus station) is 5 km from the new bus station. If you've been to Mugla Province and bought a public transport card, you can use it (I used a card I bought in Fethiye). There are a couple of vending machines in the town at the old train station. Ask around.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are very helpful and friendly. I vacationed with my family. It's very suitable for families.

They greeted us in a very homely and kind way, explaining everything nicely and clearly. They helped us with our luggage. We didn't have beach towels, but they gave us some for free. The staff treated us to home-cooked meals in a friendly manner. The view from the window was stunning. The room was small, but everything was convenient and comfortable. It felt like I was visiting Turkish relatives in the country, very warm. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Bodrum.

The rooms are small but enough to spend the night. The hotel is well located.

A dated hotel, but right in the city center at hostel prices. Clean, comfortable rooms with air conditioning and a refrigerator. Highly recommended for those who want to experience Bodrum without spending a fortune on accommodations.
