I wanted a place close the the Mall of America so I could shop and come and go to all the activities for my 8 yr old son. The Hotel was perfect .. never had to experience the cold weather in my 4 day stay, as I simply needed to leave our coats in the room and use the sky bridge and we were inside the mall. The room was clean and I felt safe during my entire stay. The price was fair in my opinion and I will stay there again on my next shopping spree.

I stayed at BLU for a week, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The fact that its attached to the mall is AMAZING, we didn't have to leave the warmth of the mall, there was PLENTY of attractions and dinning options within minutes. The hotel restaurant was also very delicious. We did wish the pool was heated and we called a few times to get room service and no one answered. There was also a walk way that was supposed to be open but no one seemed to care it was locked. Otherwise we had a great stay and would come back again!

The staff, from front desk to the valets are exceptional. They were helpful and have gone above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. We will definitely stay here again whenever we visit Mall of America,

Paid $300 for a room getting checked in after extremely long line. Had enough time to drop our luggage and make it to the Viking football game. We did try to check in at 2:00 with minimal wait in line but they refused to let us check in early. So we came back at 3:00 and the checkin line was extremely long. Like I mentioned we dropped our things and left for the game. Got back to our room around 11:30 after riding the metro back and got ready for bed after a long tiresome day. To our surprise there was not a sheet on the bed. Only a rough mattress pad. There was no flat cover sheet and not even a duvet cover on the blanket. Totally unacceptable. The only plus to the entire situation was the pillows had pillowcases on them. We were too tired to go back down to complain as they put us in a room that was completely on the opposite end of elevators. In the morning we only had enough coffee for a small cup for us two. No complimentary coffee at the desk. My husband who has the least back issues made the trek down and had to pay $7.00 for 2 small cups of coffee. This entire experience was totally ridiculous. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never run into no sheets or cover on duvet. We reported it to the front desk in the morning and all they said was oh sorry. No that is unacceptable to pay $300 a night and sleep on a bed with no sheets. He said he would credit $50. We should have been fully reimbursed for this kind of treatment. So very disappointed. Never again
