This hotel needs an urgent appointment of a manager. I still wonder why did they accept the request to host a conference when they have no capacity to do so. On arrival people waited for more than an hour to check in, the girls in the reception seems newly employed and disorientated. Not knowing what to do. People waited with their suitcases there for hours as if they are waiting deployment to another country. The rooms were cold, dusty, carpet needs replacement. Everybody was in a rush to knock off, while we wanted to see if the presentation rooms were well set for the conference. Boom! they had no projector for presentations, every presenter changed their presentation to SA Has got talent auditions , oral poem style unprepared presentation, no projector. The biggest movie, was to see them brining a person from the kitchen with his hair cover to help fix projector , then i knew he was expected to be an all rounder, there is no technical support team. This hotel was an embarrassment to the SOMSA conference. Every body had to wait for the iron, taking turns to borrow few irons that were there, our bags were at risk , no proper storage of bags when you have cheked out, but still need to keep a bag until you leave. Kitchen was another disaster, the URN was filled in front of the people who were to make tea, why was it not boiled on time. Please do not host conferences yet, until improvements I wish there was a negative 5 star, because you do not diserve a 1
