Had our wedding at Maes Manor on Sunday 14th April 2024. Staff was all brilliant, friendly and couldn't do enough for us! Odett did a fab job making sure everything was set up as we requested and kept an eye on everything throughout the day. Had a few guests with different dietary requirements and the kitchen staff went above to make sure there was something to suit all for the prosecco breakfast on the morning and the sit down dinner& evening buffet. General manager couldn't have slept much over the 2 days we was there as he seemed to be there for every part, from the breakfast on the day, to the end of the night and again the morning after making sure we had everything we needed and offered help several time with carrying our centrepieces etc from the room to the car. Had the executive suit included with our wedding package which was beautiful! Plan to book to stay in the same room next year for our 1 year anniversary ❤️ Thank you all for making it such a relaxed, stress free day! Mr&Mrs Ware xx

We went to a wedding there all looked beautiful, food was basic not much taste and so much waste. The room was £95 a night, bed was so uncomfortable, my husband and I rolled into each other as mattress was terrible base creaked when u moved. Blinds on windows didn't fit window it was like Blackpool in our room. Spoke to reception when booking out they didn't seem interested. Bedrooms need a complete overhaul

Stayed at the Maes Manor on Saturday on a groupon deal. Our room had a nice view of the grounds and the bed was very comfortable. Our meal in the restaurant was very nice and all staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an event going on in the function room which sounded great fun,a drag bingo lingo night and as the bar where were sat was closing the manager gave us a table in the function room. Lovely breakfast in the morning too. We thoroughly enjoyed our night away.

My daughters 21st party . All guests stayed the evening the breakfast was lovely . The staff couldn’t do enough for everyone . The hotel managers were extremely helpful and went above and beyond our expectations as did all the staff . Really recommend this venue .

First time going to the maes manor and fair to say it will be the last. Booked a table in advance for Mother’s Day, rang them numerous times to add one person on to which they blatantly refused. They cared more about their dimensions than customer service and wouldn’t go as far as putting one chair on the end of the table. There was plenty of room to expand our table to which they were very rude and refused. When contacting them, I was in the middle of asking a question to Danielle to which she rudely interrupted me and hung the phone up. Their customer service was appalling. Their service was very slow. Took an hour and half between main to serving the dessert. Upon booking it stated free glass of sparkling wine to all mothers. This was given out as we were leaving when it should’ve been upon arrival. Will not be attending again, customer service was awful.

I really hope they do great weddings, amazing setting as you drive up through the gates and sadly that's where the impressive element was for my stay. I am hoping as there was a wedding the following day that's where everyone's focus was on. Receptionist as I arrived, wasn't overly welcoming although I felt I had to say hi twice from what she was wearing. I was issued with my key and made my way to the room. Room ok, although it didn't feel overly clean with the remote control of the TV dirty and the sugar and milk in the room stuck together. As always I judge facilities by the shower, it was powerful but felt like I was going to fall through the plastic bath floor and the shower curtain attaching to you is never a nice feeling. Bed ok, pillows thin and heating had to be turned off as was on in July. Food - thought as only there for one night I would give it a go. It took 2hrs in total from entering to leaving and only 2 courses!! There were 8 other ppl in the restaurant. Main course ok, pudding very expensive for what you get. The waiter wasn't great, dumped cutlery on the table no napkin, no offer of sauces, no checking on food was ok and was then keen to ask if I wanted the bill before I asked for a dessert menu (which they didn't have). Restaurant was drab, no atmosphere, thankfully the other group provided entertainment otherwise it would have been a very long 2hrs. Breakfast - cereal, yogurt, toast and full cooked breakfast if you want. This was very quick this time but the bacon was crunchy and it repeated on me until after midday. Went to check out and again very little interaction with receptionist So much potential here, as I said with a large room and the setting I hope all the effort goes into weddings. It didn't feel much effort was made of short stay guests.

Day 1 checked into room 15. First point i could hear gentleman room next door having conversation on his phone, hands free as could hear muffled responce. Tv needed binoculars to watch and could only tune into bbc1. Asked for tv swap or assistance. Initially told just have to watch Bbc1. ????, Went down reception asked replacement tv, told prob aerial issue gry another room see if tv ok. Moved rooms again poor tv volume muffled but at least more channels. Room cleaned once , here 3 nights. Questioned lady on reception, do rooms get tidied everday or other day. Responce was she did not know. ????. Food in bar ok but not brill. Usual beer costs for hotel. Rooms bit dated . If in area again think would look else where.
