Prestige Plaza Hotel

Needs updated, check-in was not convenient as not till 5pm however could pay extra to check in earlier. It cost £10 for 2hours which i paid in a Scottish £10 note to which i was asked did i not have English money which i found offensive as i am obviously Scottish & did not expect the additional outlay. Throughout the extra time in the room we had no electricity except for the lights. The toilet door did not close fully which meant there was no privacy when in the very small toilet. The room did not look like the pictures and we did not use any other facilities however there never seemed to be anyone around

Quality was absolutely terrible. Seemed like the place was empty but we were placed on the very top floor. Constant beeping from the smoke alarm as it needed a battery which is very worrying if there was a fire!! Disgrace of a place.

There's literally no staff. Nobody was around to let me in. No towels either. Otherwise quite clean and comfortable.

It was so cold and dirty i will never come back again

Went with my family to Blackpool for 2 nights and 3 days. This hotel catered for everyone’s needs. Individual needs included an adult on dialysis kidney and a child with special mobility and feeding needs. John and Dave were friendly and great help with accessibility and holding doors open. When asked for toilet roll and other necessities when we had run out they gave it. Also went above and beyond with our family of 11.

We arrived on foot at around 4.45pm for a 5pm check-in and although there were people in the reception room we were not let in in spite of ringing the doorbell and knocking quite loudly, very soon there was a queue out to the street. Finally, a resident who was going out opened the door and we gained entry and went to the reception room where the process of booking in seemed over complicated and disorganised, after waiting while people were told that the cash-only deposit was stated and someone calling the chap away to show him a problem with their room we finally got booked in and went to the room. Our room was at the front overlooking the street and we thought we might get a lot of noise from people returning to other hotels further up the street. as we settled in we found the room to be quite scruffy and with quite a lot of minor defects so we photographed them (you know deposit) but during our inspection we found the room to be clean and well presented albeit quite tired and ready for a refurb. We didn't get woken by noise from the street but we closed the window as it is November, but summer could be different. At breakfast, that they provided early for us, we had a chat with the owners who, as we thought were new, having only been there a few weeks they told us of their plans and we saw the breakfast room was freshly renovated and looking good along with a decent but basic breakfast. We left feeling a lot better about the place than when we arrived. The Parin is to have a name change soon and I look forward to seeing what they can achieve when we have a return visit. Good luck.

My friends and myself arrived in Blackpool at 10am. We spoke to the owner and she informed us of the 4 parking spaces that were ag the back of the hotel available for £10. We made use of this and went on with our planned activities. 3 of our party returned to the hotel to check in at 6pm whilst 2 queued for dinner. The hosts were welcoming and dedicated to making sure we were comfortable. The room was spacious and immaculate. The bathroom is small but we didn’t mind. The hosts informed us of the £6.99 breakfast that was available for us to book. We had this and it was lovely. We booked for 9am, but were early upon arrival and we were welcomed. The only issue came from the noise of other guests but we knew this would be likely being in a ground floor room.

Hi we have just stayed in this amazing place and we loved it, the rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. The hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond. I definitely can't wait to stay here again and would highly recommend you a to give it a try as I don't belive the negative comments do it justice. a massive 5 stars from us 😁😁😁

We booked here as a last minute break to go up for the lights with our family of 5. Our room was a family suite which would have slept 6. The room was basic but immaculate. We note the new owners had only taken ownership in the last few days and were very accommodating to us. Some furniture may need updating in the future but more than adequate for use, beds very spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toiletries and loo roll provided. We weren’t advised that a £50 cash security deposit was required on arrival, but this was refunded provided the remote control was returned on checkout. It looks like the hotel had a bar in situ previously but this was not functional during our stay. We feel should this be a facility in the future along with the option to have breakfast at the hotel this would mean we rate the hotel 5 stars. Thanks for our brief stay we will be back soon x
