Had a lovely 2 night stay at this guest house. Room 3 was large with a huge very comfortable bed, fridge, tea/coffee facilities and a great bathroom with shower. Angie makes you feel so welcome , made you feel you were staying with a friend. A lovely bubbly character. Have rebooked for another stay. Definately recommended

I arrived at this B&B after a 6 hour drive and was met with a VERY abrupt owner... she told me l shouldn't have arrived yet. There was no offer of a cup of tea or anything like that. I was a little shocked at her attitude, so we said we'd come back later, she then changed her tune and said our room was ready and we could go in there as it wasn't used the night before. My Father & l went into the room & saw it was a king, even though we booked a twin, she said she would come up and make it in to a twin for us, that was not a problem for me at all, but, what l didn't like was, she put the clean duvet, throw, pillows, sheets on the floor (bearing in mind that any floor is full of bacteria, dirt etc....) This made me extremely uncomfortable, and as this guest house allows dogs, the chances are that the carpet is holding a lot of dirt and possibly urine from the dogs (there was a slight smell in one particular area of the carpet) this made me uncomfortable and quite frankly, l wanted to leave there and then. She then proceeded to tell me if l did not fill in the breakfast form then my dad and l wouldn't get breakfast (l understand that its important the let her know what l want for breakfast, but she was so bloody rude and abrupt) She also added that she is not to be bothered in the evenings as it was a Guesthouse, not a hotel, again very abrupt!!!!! Evening came and l had a shower, it wasn't worth it as the water just trickled out, l wanted to go and speak to the owner but was afraid of how she would react, l then got into a very uncomfortable lopsided bed and my dad discovered why (see picture) l suggested to my dad that we leave in the morning and find somewhere a little friendlier and more comfortable, but my dad is old and didn't want the upheaval of moving... It stated that there is a bar but according to the owner it only opens in the day, and she will only open it if she has to, l genuinely felt l was putting this woman out staying there !!!! I wasn't given an option on what time l could come to breakfast and was told there was an additional 50p charge per breakfast item if you went over a certain amount.... l have never been given such a tiny glass of orange juice, if I'd asked for more she would charge me 50p for an extra item....There were so many things wrong with the B&B l think the owner should give up the business as she was clearly put out by us as guests, and her customers skills were horrendous, however, she was extremely polite when we were leaving as said "come back soon" hahaha..... l don't think so!!! On the surface this B&B looks exceptionally clean, but at a closer look, it was not, there was urine and hair around the base of the toilets, dirty hand marks on the doors and dust on top of the headboards. We where told we would be looking out on the garden (see Picture) it wasn't quite the view l was expecting. I have stayed at over 30 B&B in Blackpool and this was by far the worst, mainly because of the owners attitude and

Lovely, clean and welcoming B n B. Location was excellent, very central but also very quiet. Beds were lovely and comfy and the bedding and pillows smelt lovely. The host was lovely and ensured we had everything we needed. Breakfast was very nice, good quality bacon and sausages. The tea tray had a good selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Our room was very clean and we had a comfortable and pleasant stay so thank you, would recommend to stay here and will book again when I return to Blackpool.
