I always look forward to staying at this hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and always remember me. IThis has become my no.1 hotel to stay whenever I'm visiting Birmingham. Breakfast has an amazing array of things from muffins to hot English breakfast to salad selection, cold meats selection, cereals and selection of breads. Topped off with hot drinks or juices. This hotel is amazing.

The room was clean and tidy with excellent natural light. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – leading to a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and getting around the area was convenient. Overall, it's fantastic value for money, and I highly recommend it!

My 2nd time staying here. Service and environment beautiful. Set in the grounds of university of Birmingham. Very peaceful as not of a public road. Staff are very friendly, decor has a Scandinavian feel. Food is reasonably priced.

Decent room for the price. Not the cleanest for the price. Nice atmosphere and lobby. Easy free parking.

Located on part of the Birmingham University campus in Edgbaston so good location for academic conferences / visiting the university, also short distance to dental hospital, cricket ground, tennis centre etc. Plenty of free parking including blue badge and EV charging. Check-in was quick and efficient. Angela, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar which serves smaller meals throughout the day and also a restaurant in the evening. The bar food was average price for hotel food (£12+ for sandwich with some soup)  and average quality. Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc. Black out blinds worked well and there was minimal noise from other rooms / corridor. Would definitely stay again if in the Edgebaston / Birmingham area.

We had a great two night stay here! The room was clean & the service was great. The kitchen was closed at times due to the heat, which was understandable. Would definitely stay again.

The room was clean & cool during the heat. The bar/restaurant was a nice space, however, I did request a quiet room but the hotel had a function Saturday night July 11, and my room overlooked the courtyard. It was very loud from people & the dj well past midnight. It was unfortunate that the front desk did not consider that.

Hotel is in a great spot, right on the university campus. We had 3 rooms for 2 nights . We had two breakfasts which were great. Two lunches which were mediocre at best and a disappointing dinner. Most of the choices on the menu were not available at least 6. It was almost comedic. The waitress did her best. We ended up with the pepper steak. It was definitely not a pepper sauce. More like a sweet gravy with peppercorns in. The 4 of us were so disappointed. We were offered two desserts to share, we accepted but honestly we just wanted to pay the bill and leave. My sisters had stayed at the hotel on numerous occasions before and had found the food tasty and fresh. Not this time!

The hotel front desk staff were really mean; they spoke rudely and were also very unpleasant to the cleaning staff.

Everything was spot on! All the small details made this hotel stand out eg: the number of plug points in the rooms, the self service water station at the bar, the incredible breakfast. Loved it! Thank you for thinking of everything to make our stay comfortable.
