Travelodge Birmingham Central Moor Street

Room was too small and had no air conditioning during the terrible heatwave. Did not look clean as well. A small table fan was provided which had not been cleaned and had collected so much dust. Shocking. Bathroom fittings were also dated. For almost the same price we booked a much, much better room at a different hotel. Would not recommend any stay here, even during a crisis.

So many homeless people outside of the hotel so if you’re traveling alone as a woman, don’t recommend you to live here. And when I booked this room, the page said it has air conditioner but when I arrived, there’s only a small fan in this room! That’s awful I have to say, the room is so hot and the window can only be opened a small gap, which will cause the smell of **** fills your room. The cleanness and amenities are ok. If you live here just to catch a train in the morning, it’s a better place than sleeping in the railway station. At least it’s cheap.

Stayed here for one day because I had to take exam the next day. Check-in was smooth and fast, and the location is great. Amenities are not fancy, however it is excellent for a short-term stay. Would recommend

Smelly room. Shower did not get hot at all. Body wash dispenser broken. Telly did not work

Lodged for 5 days , no one to empty the bin and clean the room till day4.

Not worth it’s money, extremely thin walls you can hear everything around you and worst - above you, i kept thinking the ceiling was going to cave in! When I complained to the receptionist about noise levels they didn’t care and i was lying. They also told me that they came into my room (while I was away out) to check if it was noisy, which really made me angry - snooping around in my room while all my belongings were there!! No hairdryers or iron etc in room, was left standing in the room with drenched hair! Had to run downstairs to reception to ask for one! Didn’t get a good sleep, Saturday going into Sunday heard everything outside, stupid Christmas carols playing in the town centre! Waste of my money and left the place sleep deprived!!!

Nice tidy and clean. Good for solo travellers and also close to the station and the city centre.

Clean from inside, but the location is miserable.
