Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

The room and balcony were great, the bed was large enough, and the balcony offered expansive views. The sand on the beach was very fine, and the hotel's interior decor and furnishings were stylish. The only downside is that the beach outside the hotel is public (connected to the outside), and there's no access control to enter or exit the hotel from the beach, nor is the beach fenced off. I feel this makes it unsafe for hotel guests, as outsiders can also enter.

The latte art at breakfast was good! The latte was made well by the staff, so kudos for that! But everything else was terrible! The hygiene was indescribable! Extremely bad! There were ants everywhere in the room! On the table, on the bed, on the toilet paper – ants everywhere! They were openly crawling on my arm!! Besides ants, there were also bed bugs. After one night, I had red rashes in several places on my body!! The hotel staff clearly knew! They were well aware of the hotel's hygiene issues and just gave up on it! Just look at the bad reviews! So, there's a reason the room rate is cheap! There were also a lot of floating objects in the pool!! Very scary! If you have the budget, I recommend choosing the Indigo or Banyan Tree next door!

The room was great, and the facilities were good, definitely worth the price. The service attitude was excellent. However, there were a lot of guests, so checking in and out involved some waiting, and there weren't many activities available. Overall, it exceeded my expectations! I would recommend it to friends.

Both the environment and service exceeded my expectations. I booked three nights and still felt it wasn't enough; I wished I could stay longer. The hotel restaurant offers great value for money and the food is delicious. They provided pick-up and drop-off services upon arrival and departure, and even registered my details in advance, which was very thoughtful and efficient!
