Location was great. Honestly I would not book again. Building 3 had a fly trap but it just attracted all the flies and anytime we’d open our door we’d get about 5 flies into our room.
Cleanliness is the reason why I wouldn’t go back. I got bed bugs as well. I slept with my children in the room so specially that bed, but my husband slept on the pull out couch (super thin mattress and uncomfortable, which is expected unfortunately) but he didn’t get bed bug bites.
The only good thing is that we were there for Fourth of July and being lakeside the view was amazing both morning and evening.

We had an excellent enjoyable stay at this hotel. It’s literally walking distance to the lake and the community per se it’s a convenient and perfect place to spend time with the family in beautiful Big Bear.

The accommodations were fantastic. It was cozy and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when I go back up to visit my daughter. Having the full kitchen with dishes and utensils was so fantastic!

The front staff was very welcoming and friendly. He checked us in and out smoothly. Social hours were fun and nice. The hide-a-bed was very uncomfortable so I recommend to bring mattress topper or air mattress. We had 2 bedrooms 2 baths with kitchen and it was pretty spacious. The property is maintained fairly well but it’s old so you see ran down here and there in the room. The worst thing was the water pressure from the shower. The water pressure was so low and shower was practically useless. We hated taking shower there. They do have nice indoor and outdoor jacuzzi areas so that might make it up if you use those. The location is perfect by the lake, close to the main streets and hills. Overall it’s not a Marriott but worked for us.

Great location. Everything was good. Consider this is an old building, the floors are very squeaky. I had a hard time getting sleep I could hear people upstairs walking around all night. Very noisy.

My baby of 9 months got sick two days prior to the check in date. It would have been too cold and dangerous to take her to Big Bear. My partner and I called and asked if they could return our money, or part of our money, or at least change our date. They heard our baby coughing. They had no pity on us and did not return our money or anything :(

Great location with an awesome view of the lake. Easy parking. Only thing is the rooms are old. Also the heater noise was so loud that I had hard time sleeping.
