Very good

This hotel is up in the mountains, with a great view of the sunrise if its not cloudy. Since this hotel is on the side of the mountain, there is a lot of walking up and down the stairs from the lobby to our room and for our meals. Food at the hotel restaurant is good, there are choice of buffet and ala carte available on local and western cuisine.

Wonderful staff in a hotel which makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time and are staying in a bit of a museum. Just a few minutes walk up the hill to be in the centre of all the sites. Breakfast was outstanding and opening the bay windows and corner window on our room let in the sounds of children’s singing and playing every morning. Loved our stay.

I spent a week traveling through Nepal, and this hotel was where I spent the last few days of my trip. Despite being a three-star hotel, the lowest category I stayed at, it exceeded my expectations.
The hotel has a classic feel, with very typical Nepalese decor. The furniture and wall decorations create a charming space, as if we were in an old, traditional Nepalese home. This authentic style adds a special touch to the experience.
The breakfast service is very varied, with Western-style options, almost all of which were very good. Additionally, upon arrival at the hotel reception, you are greeted with a traditional drink and given a traditional scarf to wear around your neck, which is a very nice touch.
As for the room, it was charming. The beds were comfortable, and the decorations were adorned with typical Nepalese furniture, which contributed to the cozy atmosphere. The television is tucked into an antique cabinet; of course, it's not a flat-screen TV, but since I don't watch TV, I don't mind. Overall, the room feels very comfortable, surrounded by a wealth of decor featuring typical Nepalese objects. Since we're close to the ceramic market, there were many ceramic objects throughout the room, which gave it a special charm.
The bathroom was fine; everything was very clean and bright. Although there are some small details that could be improved, such as the electrical system where the wires for the new lighting are visible, these are only minor aspects that don't affect the pleasant atmosphere of the room.
Additionally, I've noticed that they're expanding the hotel and have built a new building next door; although it's not yet finished, I imagine that the new space will have more modern decor and the most up-to-date facilities. Still, I can't complain at all about what I've seen in the hotel: the hallways and reception are very well maintained.
What really stood out was the customer service. The staff proved to be true professionals, both at the reception desk and in the restaurant and cafeteria. Their kindness and willingness to help made my experience exceptional. Throughout my trip, I've visited many hotels, but the service here was truly outstanding.
I recommend this hotel not only for its quality and charming atmosphere, but also for the excellent service they offer. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The environment is very good, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the square, which is not too close nor too far.
But the room shower 🈚️ hot water, breakfast coffee extra charge, and no bottled water in the room (the hotel uses glass bottles, I don’t know what kind of water it is, I didn’t drink it)
The bathroom has a strange smell.
Apart from the appearance, the overall appearance is quite disappointing.

I had enteritis and spent a day in the room. It was pretty good and the location was convenient. Quiet. satisfy. It’s the photo in the lobby, the bronze statue, I don’t know who it is, the hotel owner? It’s a bit uncomfortable to get used to the different cultures 😂

This is the most pleasant hotel among the four places to stay in this trip. I chose to dine in the hotel for the last few nights. It is comfortable, hygienic, delicious, and the service is considerate and thoughtful. Every staff member in every position is worthy of praise. If I go to Kathmandu again, I will choose here again!

Quiet in the bustle, clean, and the waiters smile like spring breeze. The hotel building is very traditional and has a small courtyard. It is very comfortable to drink coffee while bathing in the warm sunshine in winter. Traveling is not just about sightseeing. Sometimes it is a great experience to calm down and enjoy the moment. It is within walking distance to Bhaktapur Square. All in all, highly recommended.

The location is good, walking distance to Badgang Square and several other squares. I chose a heritage hotel specifically because I like the quaint and historical decoration style. It should be a solar water heater. It takes a while for the hot water to come out, but the water temperature is still satisfactory. I stayed for two nights and enjoyed two breakfasts. One was a buffet breakfast. There were not many varieties, but a few but fine ones, including both Western and local Nepali flavors. On the other day, because there were fewer guests, we had a breakfast set, which was local Nepali style. It included several kinds of dairy products, all of which were cold, such as yogurt and thin yogurt with water. It made my stomach feel a little uncomfortable. , quickly asked for hot water.

Perhaps the Durbar Square and museums in Patan are more amazing, but I prefer Badgang. This is a living ancient city. Whether it is a temple or a palace, they are all integrated with the residents here, and the former is more Like a lively scenic spot.
Room was good and stay was pleasant Breakfast was good and hotel staff was very good Nive stay Devika nature was good Lovely stay

Good location, just outside the gates about a 10 minute walk or less to Potters Square. Welcoming staff, eco-friendly. We really appreciated that they provided filtered water to fill bottles on every floor and in the room. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet provided a lot of variety. Definitely would return to this hotel. * Suggestion to use brighter light bulbs outside of hotel room doors as it was a bit dark. Also, note that check-in is at 2:00pm. ******* says 12:00 noon but this is incorrect.
