Hotel is situated in a very pretty village. Be warned it is extremely noisy at night. We stayed in August and needed the window open and it sounded like fighter jets were going past all night. We felt the room was expensive considering the small size. Tiny shower in a small bathroom. Hand soap should be provided by the sink. Also be warned that it’s a small double bed, although it was comfortable. More attention could be given to cleaning. Ventilation fan in bathroom very dirty, dust on ledges and dirty window frames. In hotel description it is mentioned that a cooked breakfast is available but it is not, no warning of this before we arrived. In short this wouldn’t be one that we would return to.

We were so excited to come here for a stay as we had been in the pub before for food and drinks and loved it so much, however they had a private function on in another part of the bar downstairs with really loud music that might as well of been in our room! The floor of the bedroom was vibrating, and we couldn't hear ourselves think. It went on for hours! So I'd recommend calling them before you book incase they have a party booked in. I've emailed the pub twice to complain but no one is replying. They ruined our weekend away.

Delicious food and amazing service, lovely staff. They continuously checked to make sure we were happy, gave us a choice of specific alcohols in our cocktails and drinks and let us choose how much of whatever mixer we wanted. Fantastic.

We decided to go for a dog walk in Betws- y- Coed to take in the lovely views. We came across this lovely pub and decided to pop in for a Sunday roast as it's a dog-friendly pub. The staff were very nice and welcoming, you can even order a dog dinner which my dog loved along with the dog treats. We would recommend this pub, especially if you have dogs.

This was the perfect location for exploring the national park. The room had everything we needed for two nights away and was clean and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would stay here again if we came to Betws-y-coed.

Friendly, welcoming staff, and the room was like a trip back in time. Antique furniture but very well presented and very clean. Our room even came with a view of the river. Although there's no parking at the hotel, we found a spot only two minutes walk away.

We never even got to the hotel! Wrote an email to check date availability rooms and whether it was possible to take our dog. The hotel replied a day later to say there was a room available and quoted a direct price with breakfast price on top if required. I replied with a couple of other queries but heard nothing back for days. I tried ringing many times but no one answered. I tried a further chase up email as worried about the date still being available and, again, heard nothing. Kept ringing daily until one day it was answered by someone who said it was very busy and could I ring back. Briefly explained that I was concerned about date being available and could I book. The person said she couldn’t take my booking despite it being answered on the ‘booking a room option’ and said I should use ***********! I said I had been given a direct booking price. Again I was told she was too busy to sort that and could I ring the next day between 10 and 12. I did ring and it rang out. Tried again later and it rang out but in fifth try it was answered eventually on booking a room option again and was told they were too busy and could she give me a mobile number to ring and if it wasn’t answered, leave a message and they’ll call you back. I did ring the mobile number which rang out until a recorded message said I couldn’t leave a message! I sent a concerned message and later received a curt response. We’re full on that date. Sorry for any inconvenience caused Absolute disgrace! Now, having had the opportunity to read further reviews I’ve noticed how much of a problem communication is with that particular hotel and judging by other comments it would seem we’ve had a lucky escape! Such a let down and much anger at having to try to make alternative arrangements at this late stage.
