Holiday Inn Express BERLIN - ALEXANDERPLATZ by IHG

The location is great, very convenient for both commuting to work and walking around. I stayed here for a whole week. It’s a bit disappointing that the breakfast is the same every day; it would be much better if there were more variety, especially for long-stay guests. What really shocked me on this trip was that someone opened my room and came in without knocking. I reported it to the front desk, but they only said it might have been housekeeping. There was no apology or proper explanation at all. For an international chain hotel like Holiday Inn, I’m not sure if this is considered normal here. Honestly, it felt very scary! especially as a female traveler. It didn’t feel safe at all. This experience has really made me lose confidence in Holiday Inn’s standards.

The hotel is very well located 10 minutes away from Alexanderplatz. The breakfast is quite nice with a big enough selection. The rooms are OK, but they are not cleaned daily, only every other day. The service at the reception the evening we arrived was a catastrophe. The following days it seemed to be better when other staff were in charge. The bar in the evening was not good. There was only one staff member taking care of everything (taking commands, serving drinks, cooking, etc). I felt sorry for him, definitely not normal for one person to do everything.

Generally good except the lifts are limited n need to wait for sometime due to morning crowd. However bf is good, with varieties. The receptionist are friendly n helpful

My trip to Germany was cxl due the war and all air port close After I check with trip.com hotel did not agree to refund my payment It's so bad it's force maijor issue did not allowed me to travel Even I lost chance to attend my business fair in berlin and lost lot of money with other expenses due to the curnt war It's not fare they must understand NOUR

Very clean and the rooms big ,the breakfast was very good and the location was super nice, you can walk to attractions area where you can find all the museums

Firstly, I was disappointed to find that the apples provided for breakfast were rotten, seriously rotten, which is not something I expect from a hotel of the standard. More seriously, on the morning of July 10th at around 9:00 AM, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed on my door, a member of cleaning staff entered my room without knocking. At that time, I was in the middle of an important online meeting and giving a presentation, and this intrusion was extremely disruptive and unprofessional. I visit Berlin often and have stayed at many hotels, but I have never encountered such issues elsewhere in the city.

Good wifi, tasty breakfast, very comfy bed, good shower, clean. Fast check in and check out. Friendly staff.
