Hotel Neuer Fritz

The shower flooded the entire room. I was in it for about 4 minutes when I realised it wasn’t draining properly, I got out and it had flooded the whole bathroom and out into the bedroom. I went downstairs to inform reception and was assured we would moved to a new room in 30 mins. After 1 hr I went back and there was nobody to be found in reception at all, or the offices behind the desk. I had to go to the adjoining restaurant to find someone. We were then moved to a new room. The lady from reception then checked the old shower and said ‘it seems to be draining fine’ as if I was lying about it. Having read other reviews, I can actually see this has happened before so they would be aware of this issue!! On top of all that, the door from the lift to the hallway with the rooms was broken and held open by parcel tape, there were no tissues in the tissue box and there was a white creamy stain on the door. Do not stay at this hotel.

This place is super convenient - it's only a short stroll to the train station, and there's a massive Asian supermarket just opposite.

Wifi is weak. No table in the room, which means you cannot work in your room if you are on business trip

The location is the biggest advantage of staying here. Even though the hotel is situated directly on Friedrichstraße, the room was very quiet when the windows were closed. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and exceeded my expectations. There was a wide selection, including fresh, partly homemade bread, various egg dishes, vegetables, and fresh fruit for making your own smoothie. The only downside was the route from the hotel lobby to the room. It passes through a rather unusual public area outside the "real" hotel, and the elevators and staircases are shared with other private residents, which made the experience feel less convenient.

Good area good breakfast staff friendly and helpful

The location is good. But the amenities can be improved. There is no necessary toothpaste and toothbrush provided.

The location was perfect , the staff were good . The buffet for breakfast was great esp the chefs , the one named Raheleh was really friendly and she made me a wonderful omelette. She was around all the time and offering help . The other chef , the Asian one also made me a nice Turkish egg for me . Anyway , nice experience in the hotel .

The place was really good and modern. I had issues with the shower but overall good place.
