The room was very clean. The doorman was helpful and took out the trash, which was a nice touch. The front desk staff, cleaning crew, and customer service were all great. The only thing is they require a 200 euro deposit, which is refunded 7 to 14 business days after check-out, with the city tax deducted from it. I hope my deposit is returned promptly, thank you.

This is my top choice for business trips. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a park. It's clean and tidy, the breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the service is attentive. The pool and spa are paid amenities, and pets are allowed.

Absolutely terrible! Worse than a Family Mart. Despite providing my membership number, as a Platinum member, I didn't get breakfast, nor was I upgraded. Everything was just awful. I later stayed at a much cheaper Marriott, and it was significantly better.

The room was clean and the hotel's location is pretty good, near the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium, and close to major shopping areas. The hotel is a bit older, and the staff's service attitude doesn't quite meet InterContinental standards; it's just so-so.

It's a very nice 5 star hotel experience. The staff are fantastic and really accommodating, extremely pleasant interactions. The location is decent as well, bus and lots of shops etc nearby.

We stayed at the InterContinental Berlin for a weekend trip with our two daughters (7 and 11), and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere even though it’s quite large and business-oriented. Our room was spacious, clean, and very quiet—perfect for a family. Seriously disappointed, speechless. The service was terrible. When I checked in, the front desk gave me an inactive room card – no idea what they were thinking. At check-out, they said they'd email the charges, but despite countless follow-up emails, I never received an itemized bill. It's like they can't read. Definitely won't be staying here again; avoid at all costs.

Steer clear of this InterContinental. 1. On the first night, while taking a shower, I discovered the shower head was broken. There was a large hole in the pipe behind it, and as soon as I turned on the water, it squirted directly into my eyes, causing excruciating pain. I just managed to take a quick, makeshift shower. The next morning, I reported the issue to the front desk, who promised to send engineering immediately. To my dismay, it was still unfixed when I returned that evening. It took a total of two hours of communication, both via Trip.com and in person at the front desk, before it was finally repaired. Even then, the 'repaired' pipe was incredibly stiff and awkward, rendering it almost useless. 2. The hotel's parking garage is absolutely baffling. The driving aisles are incredibly narrow, barely 15cm wider than a car itself, with multiple blind turns, no room to maneuver, and absolutely no warning signs. Parking costs 36 Euros a day, and we paid 72 Euros. However, the exit card simply wouldn't work. We had to go back to the front desk, who assured us it was fine, but it still wouldn't let us out when we tried again. Eventually, someone had to come and manually open the gate for us. This whole ordeal was incredibly frustrating and wasted a significant amount of our time. The facilities and service here are completely inconsistent with what you'd expect from an IHG property, and various complaints about this hotel can also be found on social media platforms. 3. The hygiene was also very disappointing. One of our rooms wasn't even cleaned on the second day. The carpets throughout the entire hotel were visibly dirty. The bathroom floor felt sticky and gritty underfoot, making unpleasant squelching noises – it was unbearable.
