Hotels with Bars in Berchtesgaden

The environment is really great, just on the top of a small hill, surrounded by rolling snow-capped mountains, green meadows, and a few small villages. The Internet celebrity swimming pool and Internet celebrity swing occupy the two best viewing points, and the breakfast window is simply a masterpiece. It is a 20-minute drive from King Lake and you can take a half-day tour. The room is large and the restaurant is expensive, but it doesn't matter. Some hotels in Switzerland may have this environment, but there should be no other in Germany.

The pictures in the website do not do this hotel justice. Such a lovely hotel. We stayed half board, some of the evening meals were hit and miss, but breakfast and some evening meals were lovely. Especially the swordfish. Beer is great taken in the lovely beer garden, with views over the mountains. Train and bus station across the road, with trips to most major attractions within 20 minutes of the hotel, they were quite regular and always punctual. You even get a free guest card which gives you free travel to most attractions some with discounted entry. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, we opted for an upgrade to a balcony room, which gave great views of the mountains and the river below. All the staff gave great service, but especially Sam on reception who was amazingly helpful and always friendly - just sorry we ran out of money so I couldn’t leave him a tip, but we will definitely returning and will ensure I put something away - sorry Sam x

This is the best hotel we have ever lived in during our half-month trip. Not far from the train station, on the mountainside, the scenery is very good, very close to the lively streets of the town. We live in a family room, two in front and back, with a desk to write or play mahjong. The breakfast is very rich, the coffee is free all day, and a free bus card is available, which saves a lot of money.

At first we were not very pleased with this property, but it turned out to be a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The property has some drawbacks, but that's okay. For one thing, check-in time begins at 2 PM and they are quite strict about it. We arrived a little before 2 and were told to come back at 2. We just walked around a bit until actual check-in time. The hotel has many rooms with wonderful views of the mountains but we were given a room with a view of the side of a hill. It was okay, but we really wanted a view. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked. That being said, the hotel got us into a room with a view the very next day, something we really appreciated. The hotel is cozy, the rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms aren't a bit small, but that's Europe. The breakfasts are fairly good. There is a fairly good selection of food, but it's always the same every day. The hotel caters mostly to German-speaking clientele, which was fine for me since I wanted to practice my German. They do, however, speak English as well. The hotel is also a couple of kilometers outside of Berchtesgaden so if you don't have a car, you have to either catch the free bus or walk. We had a nice stay and would go back.

On the half slope, you can see the Alps in the distance and the scenery is good. A few minutes drive to the town center, there are meals, DM, supermarket. It is quite convenient from King Lake and the magic forest about ten kilometers. There is no service staff after 10 pm in the hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and pressed the emergency number. The store opened the car and came over from the house to open the door. It was still very good. The breakfast was quite rich, and everyone gave the designated table with a brand name on the table. The hotel room is large, larger than the average European hotel, and the heating is very warm. The only dissatisfaction is that the quotation is not the same as the actual one, saying that there is a tax.

Breakfast was good, there is free parking, and it is very close to Königssee. We went to Königssee in the morning and returned to the hotel for lunch at noon. The scenery around the hotel is good. You can take your child to play, but I don’t know if an extra bed can be added.

Pension Etzerschlössl has very well enjoyed us. Family short is super nice, friendly. To do this, you must say Christian short cooks very, very good and who is in pension should absolutely book a table on Friday. I wish the family shortly with their 3 sweet angels everything good and we will come back.

Two of us were on a self-guided WWII battlefield and site tour. We selected this hotel because of its location and the information provided on its website. The website did not let us down. The views we had of the valley into Berchtesgaden were wonderful. The food was excellent. We ate in the restaurant several times and were always impressed. Breakfast was simply great. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The staff wanted to please and they did. For me, it was truly a wonderful place to stay in the area. I would definitely stay there again. I almost forgot to say something about the rooms. The rooms have been recently renovated. They are clean, modern, and welcoming. The baths are likewise modern. I was most impressed as was my traveling partner who also had a great view of the valley.
