Hotel Koraku

Good location with parking. Friendly services. Great Japanese breakfast. Just the facilities are old and not well maintained. Tried the private rooftop bath. We could hear from the next private bath and didn't feel so private. But the charge is only 1100 yen. No shower in our room, only toilet.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Friendly service, location within short walking distance to Beppu central area.

Very poor location. Way in the back of the road. Also very OLD OLD..... Staff was nice but it foreigner on the counter for cheap labor. Non Japanese staff only few. They poor very poor English. Bath(Hot Springs) Bath (Hot springs) was like little bigger than your bathtub. Also the locking system at the hotel is very bad. I had a hotel staff barge in without any sign and I was waring my panties only. If it was ladies only in the room, this wouldn't be allowed. But room size was big. Bed sheets, you need to expect there are no blanket. The Blanket they provide just have sheet cover. I don't know if this is clean or not. Overall, I didn't like the place. I found are there are more fine hotels near the train station and more center of the city.

Very comfort with ryokan style with king bed , very clean and easy to walk to main street

It’s a quite traditional hotel with old facilities. There are many local visitors and you may enjoy the outside hot spring.
