Staffs are so nice, room is big and with private onsen in the bathroom. Also, there’s a foot onsen on the rooftop, and the view is so beautiful

We booked this, and the sister hotel under the same organization (步步庵） for my family and my parents.
Both were super nice but we think this one is nicer. Comes with private onsen inside the room, with a proper mattress. Apartment style with modern design.
We love this room so much. Would definitely come back!
Comes with free parking.

This room has no windows with external views so I would recommend booking other rooms instead. Despite that, amazing service and facilities in general.

Excellent, quiet, and relaxed. It's within walking distance of the five hells (Hells of the Dead), and conveniently located on foot from the shopping street. Beppu University is a 20-minute walk away by JR train, and the bus station to Yufuin is just a 2-minute walk away. There are also numerous hot springs within a 10-minute walk.
