Title: Convenient Location but Lackluster Amenities - Tumike Hotel Bentong Review Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I recently stayed at Tumike Hotel Bentong and overall, my experience was rather underwhelming. While the hotel's location was indeed convenient, with Regent Court Restaurant and several other eateries within walking distance, there were several drawbacks that dampened my stay. Firstly, I booked the triple room, but I was disappointed to find that I could only request one pillow. This was quite inconvenient, as multiple pillows are often necessary for a comfortable night's sleep. Additionally, the absence of a fridge in the room was a major drawback. It meant that I couldn't buy perishable items like tofu or keep beverages chilled, limiting my options for snacking or enjoying cold drinks. One of the most significant downsides was the steep price for a night's stay. At RM200 per night, I expected more from a budget hotel. Considering the hotel's one-star rating, the cost seemed excessive for the amenities and overall experience provided. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to Regent Court Restaurant, TF Value, Steamboat Restaurant, Musang King Dessert, and Family Mart was undoubtedly a convenience. These nearby establishments made it easy to access various dining options and satisfy any immediate needs. However, when considering the overall experience, I would have expected a budget hotel like Tumike to offer more competitive pricing and improved amenities. The lack of additional pillows and a fridge limited the comfort and convenience of my stay. Therefore, I would recommend exploring other accommodation options in the area before settling for Tumike Hotel Bentong.

It's a great destination for a short trip, but be sure to secure the balcony and windows to prevent monkeys from entering to search for food. Unfortunately, our snacks were stolen by monkeys because we only closed the balcony without locking it, allowing the monkeys to push the door open and access our room.

The hotel looked new and the room was clean. The problems were the connecting room was not sound proof and the toilet has no lock. Can hear the next door guests watching TV and talking in normal volume. The plus things are the facilities like swimming pool, kids playground and common areas are well kept. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing and the confectionery like croissant and pan au chocolat are very delicious. However, the queue to enter the restaurant for breakfast was very long between 8.30-9.00am Suggest the restaurant to add more seatings to save guest's time. The ala carte dishes for dinner were ok. The lasagne was not delicious. The char kue tiao and chicken burger were much better. The vietnamese noodle was too gingery, not so nice. For the price, room, facilities and breakfast, it is very worth it. Most likely will come back again.

The location was easy to find, but the check-in process was not that smooth, reached there around 3 pm but only able to check in 5 pm+, as they said because of the late checkout from previous guest, and I ask for compensation for this issue as due to this late check-in, it has interrupted my schedule as I supposed to go Genting b4 6 pm for a concert and I was late to that due to traffic jam. I asked for late check out as compensation however the hotel doesn't allow it and did not compensate anything. The room was nice, clean and cozy. Overall, nice room but feel disappointed with the Swiss Garden Hotel's management, will consider twice b4 I want to book here next time if I have any important schedule for Genting.

Not sure what the neg reviews are on about but my experience was really good! Room was super spacious with kitchenette, living area and even a service balcony with washing machine! Local eateries like satay and lok lok is just down the road. Will definitely come back again (:

This place is considered clean. Just the WiFi internet is not strong. The bed is nice, air conditioning is working great. It's quiet at night away from the town area and still has many shops and restaurants. It's really convenient

hotel without elevator@elevator. family room we booked anyway on the top floor. a bit poor arrangement there. overall, good hotel, comfortable. the main door of the hotel is a bit close to the intersection, a little difficult to get to the hotel from the bus station direction, but easy if from the direction of the mosque.

The hotel was former apartment that makes the room so wide with apartment standard. Has a sink etc, the room it self was clean nice, nice bed, nice pillows,nice bathroom but they didnt give toothbrush and toothpaste. They have many restaurants, and lucky i was at tower 2 so easy to reach restaurant and the shuttle stop. The location is wonderfull, on the top of the mountain. But it was sadly when i stay there was big raining all night and morning so all foggy and i cany see the nuce few there, otherwise its wonderfull view if there was no rain. Overall that very nice hotel

The resort looks neat and beautiful where is surrounded by vegetation. When the first time we drive to this resort, we were scared of where is quite an outskirt location. But not too bad is not that deep into drive-in is just about 5 min from that small little town. In fact, is a really convenient location which near to those shops from the little town They take the SOP seriously where they did maintain the social distancing, scan our My Sejahtera apps, and provide us the hand sanitizer. We were greeted by the guard who are very friendly and dedicated. The room in GRV was the great one, very huge like a suite room with wide space, beautiful view and the shower heater was working perfectly with high pressure. The receptionist by the name of Fazila (who work in this property for 3 years plus) who handle our check-in and check-out process was efficient with a courtesy maner and helpful. We will never forget of Fazila's hospitality that she demonstrated. Keep up the good work Fazila and her team.

We booked 2 rooms and stayed here for a night with our family. Overall was okay, the front office staffs were very nice and friendly, the checked in process is basically flawless. The F&B staff were really friendly especially those staffs at the pool area. We enjoyed our stay but the room I stayed in has no items at the mini bar, I called the room service a few times to asked for the items but they just simply sent me a few items despite I was only asking for tea bags. Also the cups was not washed at all, coffee stained was still on the cups, i have to wash it with boiling waster and i can see the water turned brown after I poured it into the cups. Another thing is We asked for an extra bed, but no extra amenities (toothbrush and others) was provided, again I need to call the to provide it. Overall the stay was okay. I think the housekeeping department really need to pay more attention to details and not to mentioned the person who picked up my call when i asked for extra amenities and tea bags was rather unfriendly.
