The whole purpose of our visit to Benidorm, and to this hotel was because of the TV Show Benidorm, which used the pool area for a lot of its scenes. Whilst I know it has been some time since the series began (and finished), I doubt we will be the last to visit because of the show. Check-in was a smooth process, with the traditional hotel wristbands issued. We were also provided with a handy guide to times etc showing what was available and when. Room: Our room was on the twelfth floor and was clean and comfortable. The room had comfortable beds, a fridge, a safe (additional charge) an en-suite bathroom, heating/air conditioning, and a balcony with a pool view (we also just about had a sea view). As with most of the Med areas we have stayed, the room had a solid tiled floor, which is great for managing the heat but does little to mask any noise. Thankfully, whilst we did hear the occasional vocal residents leaving and returning at night (morning?), it wasn't as bad as it could have been. This may have been due to the lateness of the season, which also meant we had little need for the air conditioning, despite it still being about 20 degrees in the evening. Booking a pool view was well worth it, as it meant we also got the very last of the evening sunshine. I suspect the rooms on the other side would have been somewhat cooler by the evening. I would say it is worth the uplift to benefit from the sea view. There were some superior rooms available for an extra cost - I didn't spot this until the end of our holiday - I would have liked to see what they were like. Maybe next time... Restaurant: Breakfast: Breakfast was the usual buffet affair, with a wide selection of choices from cereal, bread and rolls, fresh honey on the frame (which I found rather novel, but I understand quite the norm), bacon, eggs, pancakes, cold meats, and cheese, etc. I would have thought there was something for everyone. Lunch: We only had lunch one day, and I think it was a similar affair, but can't really remember. We typically skipped or had something from the snack bar. Snack bar: I think this was only for all-inclusive, but there wasn't anything to prevent anyone else I suspect lunch was a similar choice - we didn't make use of that other than one day - we preferred to stay around the pool and use the snack bar. Here they had a selection of fruits, cheeses, cold meats, salad, olives, and crisps as well as hot foods such as hot dogs, pizza, chips, etc. Evening: The evening meal was again a buffet choice. I did tire a bit of this and craved table service, so we ate out one evening. They had different choices most evenings, with some static choices of salads, cold meats, and cheeses. One night had a fabulous seafood choice - if only I wasn't intolerant to some shellfish. I was quite envious of those able to indulge! Bars: The pool bar was open from 10:30-17:30 with a wide selection available. We'd opted for all-inclusive, so no need to worry about additional costs.

Went on my birthday in April . Very disappointing as the pool was not heated and freezing cold. Left my bag in the toilet by the bar for 2 minutes and had £500 stolen . Staff could not have cared less so unhelpful . Would not even check cctv and dismissed it as if nothing happened . Bed sheets were dirty Queses to check in and out horrendous and the lift broke .

100% recommend a stay here. The interior is lovely, very well kept and clean. The pool areas are equally well kept, evidently the staff work hard to keep it that way. We stayed in the Ocas building, and opted for an upgraded room for an extra few quid a night. This was well worth it, the room had a mini bar, kettle and tea tray, towels and robes and a balcony with a great view of the street, including the silver dollar bar next door. Which was excellent for people watching and having a bit of a boogie while having pre going out drinks. The mini bar came with free soft drinks replenished daily, also I had a little gift delivered from the hotel because it was my birthday, a nice touch. The bed was sooo comfy, and at night we just shut the patio doors and put on the air con, didn’t hear anything from the road and slept like babies. We were a bit disturbed at 3am our last night by some bloke wanting to re enact Oasis at Reading in the corridor outside our room. But he shut up after about 30 minutes and it is Benidorm after all. Breakfast was great, tons of choice - fruit, pastries, cereal, hot food options. There’s something for everyone, no reason why anyone couldn’t have what they want. The staff all deserve a mention - every single person we interacted with was polite, friendly and could not have been more helpful. We would def stay again.

Lovely hotel, right on the end of the famous *****! We had a room overlooking the pool with spacious a balcony, it was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was fine, plenty of choice and the dining room was bright and comfortable. Gorgeous pools with plenty of sun beds around them. We found the lifts painfully slow, but considering all the good points the hotel had slow lifts are worth putting up with.

Stayed for a week in March 2024. The main -arts of the hotel are very nice and clean however the rooms could have done with a lick of paint. My mums room in particular was quite bad but liveable for the week. The staff at this hotel are amazing so professional and friendly. My mum who is disabled had a manual wheelchair which was allowed to be left in the luggage room when we went out of the hotel. Ana on reception in particular was mega helpful and booked mobility scooters for my mum and her friend. Sh always had a smile and always made us feel welcome. The cleaning staff too were so busy too and still made time to say hello. 10/10 for staff The food at this hotel was really good, great selection for breakfasts and dinners. We only booked half board so I can comment on lunches. The pork cheeks are so tasty and the seafood night was also great although a tool to open the crab would have been helpful. Also if you’re having ice cream take it from the freezer with the glass door. The stuff from the soft serve machine isn’t ice cream lol You get a good size fridge in the room fresh towels daily and there is a hair dryer in the bathroom. Overall a really good stay and will definitely be back here. Thank you Sol Pelicanos!

Awful, absolutely disgusting, checked into our room and it smelt like sewage or sweat couldn’t really understand which one but it was horrible tried getting fresh air in from the balcony door but the smell didn’t go awful, dust flying about everywhere looked like it was snowing when shinning the light around the room and floors all over the hotel room including the bathroom look like they have not been cleaned for weeks the cleaners could atleast just give it a quick mop. Overall it is really unhygienic so wouldn’t recommend.
