A very decent hotel.
Clean.
Huge bed and TV.
We got an uncomfortable room, elongated, with one window at the end of the room that didn't provide enough light, making it feel like a basement. Overall, if you're just sleeping in the room, it's okay. You can only get between the wall and the bed by bending over, and getting into the shower is tricky, again due to the poor layout.
Layout aside, the linens and towels are clean and fresh, but the water wasn't replenished; we only got one bottle when we checked in.
The spa is good, with a pool and three saunas. Reservations are not required. Open from 11 a.m., and children are not allowed after 8 p.m.
Breakfast is until 10 a.m. on weekdays, which was a surprise; it's usually until 11 a.m. everywhere, and the breakfast isn't particularly good. There's only one coffee machine, and there's usually a line. There's no sparkling wine, cold cuts, sausages, fruit, or desserts. Not much of anything; we didn't have a very substantial breakfast. You'd expect more.
Overall, I'd recommend it if you don't mind the food and don't want to spend too much time in your room. It's conveniently located around the corner, with tons of restaurants (some are delicious, others are just mediocre). The Kremlin is within walking distance, and the surrounding area is convenient for exploring—there are small, pretty streets. We rented a car, and parking is a five-minute walk away.
