Such a shame beautiful location and building in desperate need of a refurbishment and investment. Bathroom filthy, see photos. Kitchen extraction needs cleaning as whole building smells of burnt old fat.

Stayed here on a two night short break and, given the negative reviews on this site, my experience was very pleasant. Yes the hotel is dated and could do with some refurbishment and the plumbing was interesting. However, the welcome by all of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and a fine breakfast more than made up for the shortfalls. Would I stay here again - definitely. Value for money.

The hotel its in excellent location and this time of the year was a nice weather.
The hotel exterior was nice, like ,pub, like the restaurant but our room need alot of upgrades

Old-fashioned and characterful. Nice village. Staff seemed overrun one morning.
